Bismah Maroof (Pakistan Captain): Definitely dissapointed, the way we batted, the batters let us down, we hadn't put up a good score after chosing to bat first. We were targeting 130+, disappointed with the performance as a captain.

Naruemol Chaiwai (Thailand Captain): Pakistan are a strong side, we want to win against every team, and we want to enjoy on the field and have fun. (What were the plans yo looked to execute today) Nothing specific, but with the bowling to bowl correct line and get wickets. Happy with the win.

Natthakan Chantham (Player of the Match, here is what she has to say): I was just looking to enjoy the game, play with a straight bat and win the game. I just came to enjoy the game and everything else just came along the way. Played with the ball, the spinners made me work hard, but I enjoyed it and got the job done.

Thailand get their first win in this tournament, and it's their biggest win in their T20I history. They deserve all the praise, in batting, bowling and fielding. They were the better side today, restricting Pakistan to a score that they chased down. Chantham with one of the best innings of her career, against such a great bowling side, 61 off 51, could not stay till the end but she brought Thailand close to the finishing line, Kanoh made sure that they crossed the line with a boundary in the last over. Koncharoenkai and Chaiwai played small cameos alongside Chantham.

They were struggling in the middle with lack of boundaries as the spinners bowled really well, Dar and Hassan got 2 wickets each giving away just 26 and 18 runs respectively. Sandhu bowled economically, with a wicket and just 17 off her 4 overs. Imtiaz was given one over, she took a wicket but gave away 11 in that over, the match turned from there. A few dropped catches, extras and overthrows cost Pakistan the match.
