Right then! The Scorchers and the Sixers rivalry will renew in Sydney for one final time in BBL 10. They are the two best teams in the tournament and they will battle it out for the title in two days time.

FYI, this will be the fourth time these two heavyweights face off for the BBL title in the last 10 years. Remember, Sydney Sixers have never beaten Perth Scorchers in the final and Moises Henriques men will look to erase that bad record on Saturday.

We will be covering that match LIVE on Saturday, but for now, this is Pragadeesh on behalf of my fellow texpert Pradeep saying goodbye! Cheers
Liam Livingstone: "Massive win. we played a lot of good cricket, we felt like we deserved to be in the finals. We have one more to go and we feel we have to play our best cricket against the Sixers. I think it's going to be a great final in Sydney and it's good to play some cricket in front of a crowd as we didn't get much chance to play in front of them".

Who would've expected this at the start of this encounter? Perth Scorchers dominated Brisbane Heat and comprehensively won the match by 49 runs.

Chris Lynn comes out with a smile to shake hands but he will be disappointed with his team's batting effort.

After the rain interruption, Chris Lynn and Joe Denly started the chase but both openers were dismissed by Jason Behrendorff in the fourth over. For all the good cricket, jaw-dropping comebacks and individual brilliance the Heat have produced in this Big Bash League, it's sad to see they couldn't make it count on the biggest of stages. Chris Lynn's wicket turned out to be big and the batsmen who followed him failed to get going. Joe Burns played some lovely cricketing shots but he didn't get any support from the other batters.

After being at the receiving end of James Vince and Josh Phillipe's assault in the qualifier, the Scorchers bowlers turned up in a fiery way and made sure they get the job done to book a rematch against the Sixers in Sydney.
17.6 Aaron Hardie to Mitchell Swepson, FOUR! Boundary to finish but it doesn't matter as Perth Scorchers are meeting Sydney Sixers on Saturday for the Finals! Back of a length on the middle and off as Swepson backs away and hammers that one straight down the ground as it races away to the fence for a boundary
17.5 Aaron Hardie to Mitchell Swepson, full delivery into Swepson on the leg stump line as he whips this one straight to the short fine-leg fielder for no run
17.4 Aaron Hardie to Mitchell Swepson, back of a length into Swepson on the middle and leg as he backs away to whack that one but misses, through to the keeper
17.4 Aaron Hardie to Mitchell Swepson, WIDE! Back of a length into Swepson on the leg stump as he look to smash that one on the on-side but misses. Umpire calls that a wide
17.3 Aaron Hardie to Mitchell Swepson, short delivery into Swepson the middle and off as he looks to upper cut that and misses, through to the keeper
17.2 Aaron Hardie to Mitchell Swepson, FOUR! Back of a length outside off. Swepson backs away and thrashes that one over the extra cover region as they pick up a boundary
17.1 Aaron Hardie to Ben Laughlin, DROPPED! DEAR OH DEAR! That was up in the air for a long time as Laughlin skies that one straight up as Tye comes across but spills it out in the end, they run a single
So the final over of the innings will be bowled by Aaron Hardie

Ben Laughlin, Right-Handed Bat comes to the crease
16.4 Andrew Tye to Morne Morkel, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! What a short delivery that one, Morkel had no idea and has to go here! Short delivery into Morkel on the off stump as he fails to get under that and puts out the bat at it and that top edge's straight up as the keeper backs away and takes an easy catch in the end. Heat are 9 down now!
