Pretoria Capitals top the leaderboard in the points table with a commanding win over the struggling Joburg Super Kings. We had many epic battles in SuperSport Park in the past but this one doesn't belong in that category. We still have four more matches including the semi-final in this beautiful ground and hope the upcoming battles provide us with all the thrills and spills. Wayne Parnell (Pretoria Capitals captain): That's the nature of the cricket in centurion. Faf played aggressively and that's how guys come out and play. (On Anrich Nortje) I mean having a guy like that in the bowling unit looked great and he is hungry and aggressive. The way Salt managed his game was brilliant, he wanted to stay till the end The brand of Cricket that we are playing we want to give license to everyone to go and express. James Neesham is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: FIrst ball was brilliant, risen a little and took the edge, Faf was batting incredibly well and that wicket changed the momentum of the game completely. Had to go for it, it would've landed near the ropes or landed in someone hands and this team has a incredible bowling attack, it's a privilege to bowl with them. It got stuck in my hand, little things went our way tonight, will look to take the momentum from here on. We want to play aggressive brand of cricket, quick turnaround and we're really happy with how things went.

Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings captain): There's no words to describe what happened there. It's not the first time it has happened, we keep making the same mistakes. Platform was really good but the manner we keep playing aggressive, losing wickets all the time, combination of trying to positive, try and get the innings deeper. It's just the natural thing for me to open the innings with either Janneman or Reeza.

It just can't get better than this. An absolute domination by the Pretoria Capitals as they steamrolled Joburg Super Kings and take revenge for yesterday's defeat at The Wanderers. Fireworks all around the Supersport park and the fans are dancing in joy.

The bowlers made the job easy for the batters by bowling out the visitors for 122, so credit should go to Anrich Nortje and Jimmy Neesham as their spells proved pivotal to inflict a batting nightmare

But nothing to take away from Will Jacks and Phil Salt as they went all guns blazing inside the powerplay and gave the Capitals a fiery start. Will Jacks in particular just unleashed a few shots that looked so effortless, while Salt stuck until the end and made sure that his team cross the finish line with minimum fuss.

The Joburg bowlers had a tough time in the middle but the blame should go to the batters for posting a meagre total in a batting-friendly surface.
