Brandon King (Jamaica Tallawahs captain): It's similar to last year, playing our best cricket at this time. Same coaches as well. They're always willing to give their advice, during the game as well. It's been an exciting challenge (captaincy). Have had the fortune to get advice from the senior members. It's a day-by-day thing (his fitness). Working with the physio, still not fully fit. Hoping Amir will be ready for the next game as we have a few days off. Fabian bowled brilliantly today. The combination of our team is such hat we don''t require Fabian with the ball all the time. He had an incredible game. I think the bowlers made it easy for us. Wasn't the easiest wicket to bat on.

Sikandar Raza (St Lucia Kings captain): Today was just tough. Didn't think the conditions would be that spin-friendly. We sat on the back foot for far too long before taking the game to the opposition. Forde has been one of the shining lights for us. He's been a real fighter in our team. If only we had a few more guys fighting like him. Given the conditions, we thought we needed a legspinner (Williams left out). I thought the selection was good. Grateful for the support.

Fabian Allen (Player of the Match): Yeah it's a difficult surface. If you bowl in the right areas it will pay off. We are continuing to do well for the last two games and its good to come out with a victory. That's what big players Do. We are confident of winning this. Even last year, we were in a similar position. I will take any team at this stage to play in Qualifier 2.

The Jamaica Tallawahs made light work of the victory target of 126 as they win by 5 wickets and will play in Qualifier 2 in their bid to qualify for the final. The target was never going to challenge the Tallawahs and it was exactly the way it panned out when the opening partnership was going all guns blazing. Brandon King in particular started off in an audacious approach and kept finding the boundaries with consummate ease.

He raced off to 30 and it looked, he would take the chase away from the St Lucia Kings within a blink of an eye. It was Matthew Forde who helped the St Lucia Kings claw their way back into the game. Three quick wickets did push them back a bit but the required rate was never an issue due to the blistering start provided by King and Hales.

The latter carried on from where he left the other day. Some impressive shots were followed by his dismissal. It was Imad Wasim who resurrected the sinking ship in the company of Raymon Reifer. Dew played a significant part in the outcome as the bowlers didn't manage to grip the ball they would have liked. In the end, some sensible batting from Reifer saw them through.
