A clinical performance by the Orcas and they are the deserving owners of that first berth in the final. They have two days off now and by this time tomorrow, they will know who among MI New York and Texas Super Kings will join them. Speaking of the Super Kings, they have to start afresh. A new day and a new opportunity as their captain mentioned but most certainly, they have to turn up a lot better.

Wayne Parnell (Seattle Orcas captain): Whenever you win a playoff game it's pretty special. The guys have been unbelievable so far - one more game to go. It was a little bit tricky. We weren't sure, at the toss I was a little 50-50. Generally the wicket plays better under lights and as a bowling unit to restrict them to that total was great. And to see Quinny play like that was brilliant.

Faf du Plessis (Texas Super Kings captain): It's a bad day at the office eh? We thought coming here the pitch was going to be real slow. In hindsight I feel it was a mistake at the toss. Hindsight is always a beautiful thing isn't it? But it looked a little bit easier in the second innings. In the first innings there was some puff of dust. Got to give credit to them - they were a complete unit today. The team that was top of the table played like that. We've got a big wake up call for tomorrow - if we want to go further we have to play better. The beautiful thing about tomorrow is it's a new day. Absolutely new opportunity and when we wake up tomorrow it's an opportunity to do something.

Quinton de Kock (Player of the Match): To be honest, I didn't really want to come back tomorrow and play a game of cricket. We have got some golf plans. Not much actually to be honest. Not much of a practice time, it was a quick tournament, its about what you have done in the past. Not too sure but there will certainly be one or two celebrations.

Harmeet Singh: It is very special. Any tournament you start you want to win it. Playing for Seattle has been special ever since I came to USA. It will be stunning on Sunday. We decided that the pitch helped us and wee didn't try to do anything fancy. Even in the 17th over I backed my length. I was expecting them to play across the line and it worked out today. We needed a couple of days break and it's also an assurance that you are playing the final. The feeling that we dominated will go a long way psychologically. Physically also we needed this rest. Praveen Amre is my childhood coach. He coming here is a nostalgic feeeling for me. The best quality as a coach is he always finishes a discussion with a positive.

From start to finish, it was dominance all the way from the Seattle Orcas. An absolute hammering dished out to the Texas Super Kings and fittingly, the Orcas book their berth in the summit clash to be played on Sunday. It was set up by their bowlers' brilliance as they restricted the Super Kings to a paltry total of 126/9 which was never going to be enough.

Nauman Anwar perished early but there was no stopping a certain Quinton de Kock, who used the pace and width on offer to pick out the fence on a regular basis early on. The seamers took pace off to pull things back in the second half of the powerplay but without wickets, they were always going to remain behind. As it turned out, wickets were incredibly hard to come by and a catch put down by Faf du Plessis summed up their miseries.

De Kock was in no mood to stop as he waltzed along without breaking a sweat. He racked up a half-century to put the result of the contest beyond doubt even as Shehan Jayasuriya took his time again. Even Mohammad Mohsin couldn't weave his magic for the Super Kings and it was just a case of going through the motions beyond a point.

What de Kock did really well apart from unleashing some outstanding shots was getting the job done. He didn't leave it to his colleagues and ensured that by virtue of his century partnership with Jayasuriya, buried the chase within no time. The Orcas will contest the summit clash and will await the winner of the Challenger which will now be contested between MI New York and the Super Kings. Presentations coming up in just a bit...

Now that is as bizarre an end to the contest as it can get! It just sums up the fact that only one team turned up on the day. Seattle Orcas march into the final of the inaugural Major League Cricket season!
