Mitchell Marsh, Australia captain: Really proud of the boys, at my time, a series win playing against South Africa was really hard to come by. The game was set up by our bowlers tonight, for sure. Spencer was rested tonight, he's got a lot of cricket coming up, he's going to play a big role for us in this tour. Very lucky to have guys like Jason Behrendorff, an experienced head, got his opportunity tonight, all our bowlers were fantastic. Not everyday do you get a chance to sweep a series for Australia. We'll be up and about, it's a day game, hopefully it's a big crowd and both teams put on a show.

Sean Abbott is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: I think the pitch suited the bowlers for most of the night tonight, I think we got that right but to be honest, credit should go to the batters, it wasn't easy to bat on and it was great intent, showed some good strengths, I think 100 run partnerships was a very good effort. It's a great time to be part of, I really enjoyed my cricket while I get to hang around with the lads, especially coming out against a side like South Africa. One of the greatest strengths of Mitch is, takes the pressure off you and provides great environment to be around, basically tells you to go do your thing, showed tonight and he has a great vibe amongst the group in the first week, I think Mitch has done a fantastic job.

Aiden Markram [South Africa captain]: Temba's got us off to a great start, batted beautifully with intent and then we lost a heap of wickets made it challenging, we wanted to take it deep and win the game, the odd ball was nipping was challenging. When we came back with the ball, two big boys tried to smoke you out of the ground, certainly tough but we can take a lot of learnings from this game and be better going forward. Exactly that, it's international cricket, doesn't matter which team you play, finding a way to compete with them, hopefully can we can come back on top on Sunday.

The game was always going to go one way after the 20-run over to end the powerplay. Words might not do justice to the clinical display of hitting exhibited by Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Short - but we'll try - there was hardly a shot played in anger, a rash shot, the duo picked the perfect deliveries to have a go, pierced the gaps off the good ones, and left the hosts completely hapless. Matthew Short has certainly been a standout performer for the Aussies in this series, more so after his stupendous knock today.

To be fair to South Africa, they had reason to be optimistic when they set out to defend 165. Aiden Markram and Lungi Ngidi kept things tight in the first couple of overs - Markram, pitting himself against the left-handed Head, did well to contain the Australian opener to four dots. But then, Head and Australia cut loose, and despite the wicket of Travis Head off the penultimate over of the powerplay, there was no way back for the hosts.

Matthew Short signed the powerplay off with a 20-run over, going after the bowling of Ngidi. While he didn't time everything, the ones that he did found its way to and over the boundary. Marsh joined in on the act, taking the spin duo of Tabraiz Shamsi and Bjorn Fortuin to the cleaners rather ruthlessly. Both the batters then had a race to get to their respective half-centuries.

Matthew Short got there in a trice, absolutely bludgeoning the bowling of Gerald Coetzee in the 11th over. The all-rounder was dished out some looseners, and he latched onto them on each occasion, finding the gaps with ease, and signed the over off with one of his dismissive pull strokes for six. By the time Shamsi accounted for Short, the game was well within Australia's pocket. Marsh continued his onslaught, and Australia were home and dry with a quarter of the innings to spare.

As comprehensive as wins get! Australia have clearly been the better team over the course of the two matches thus far, and they have the results to show!

14.5 Lungi Ngidi to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR! THAT'S IT! AUSTRALIA THUMP SOUTH AFRICA, takes the series 2-0 with a game to go! Pace off, short into the batter. Marsh went back and pulled it behind square, sweeper stood no chance and fittingly Marsh seals the deal in style. Plenty to ponder for South Africa who were a no match to this Australian side once again!
