Player of the match: Daniel Christian
That concludes the coverage of the match. The action of this match was brought to you by Prashanth Satish who was in the company of Prakhar Sachdeo. Thank you and good night.
Daniel Christian is the Player of the Match for his all-round performance.

Dan Christian: Not happy with the way the game started but Worrall bowled well. I knew they had a good batting line up, but the whole team contributed tonight. Spending time with the people who are playing, it is good fun.
Adelaide Strikers 139/7 after 20 overs.

Sydney Strikers win by 38 runs thanks to their bowlers. Adelaide Strikers started well as Jason Holder and Ben Dwarshuis were hammered for plenty of runs at the start of the chase. Strikers were 47/0 after the first four overs. But then they lost their way completely. The likes of Ben Manenti (2/23), Carlos Brathwaite (2/23), and Steve OKeefe (2/8) chocked the Strikers in the chase. Dan Christian was impressive with the ball too as he bowled a decent spell of 1/25. None of the Striker batsmen was able to get in and get a big score.

Earlier, Sydney Sixers were put in to bat after Adelaide Strikers skipper Alex Carey won the toss and opted to bowl. Sixers were off to a poor start as at the half-way mark they were struggling at 52/2 thanks to a great spell from Daniel Worrall. He bowled a stunning spell of 2/12 which had 18 dot balls in it. It looked like the Sixers would be restricted to a sub-par total. But then Daniel Christian happened. He was promoted up the batting order. The all-rounder started in fifth gear and smashed five sixes and four boundaries on his way to the second-fastest fifty in the history of the BBL. Star spinner Rashid Khan had an ordinary outing as he went for 34 runs from his four overs while picking only one wicket. Daniel Hughes too played a handy knock of 46 from 41 balls lower down the order to take the Sixers to an impressive total of 177/5.
Eight runs from the over as Sydney Sixers complete an impressive 38-run win.

Carlos Brathwaite to bowl the last over of the match.
Christian has done his job for the Sixers. He first did a stunning job with the bat and now has done a decent job with the ball. With Strikers needing 47 runs from the last 6 balls the fate of the match is more or less decided.
