Suranga Lakmal Player of the series: I am really happy, I had worked really had for this and I was trying to bowl with the intent to win these matches for my side. The pitch initally helped me in the first test but in this test it was not very helpful. I was just looking try and bowl in the right areas.
Kraigg Bratwaite West Indies skipper also the Player of the match: Very pleasing and obviously you want to lead a team from the front I was happy to get those scores. Well I wanted to keep it simple, batting through the number of balls I wouldn't have got these numbers so that's some positive, that's a soild plan and giving my 100%. Well I could change at times, I play as per the situation of the game I am confident that I can chose to play shift gears as per the situation. I liked the attitude that we had and the effort that we put. We look to carry on the belief into the next series and we certianly are heading into the right direction.
Dimuth Karunaratne Sri Lankan skipper: Yea I think if you look at the wicket there was nothing on offer in the pitch. After the ODI's the pitch just kept getting flatter and flatter. We displayed some good bowling perfromace and over we did well. Bowling was crucial, the fast bowlers did really well sometimes we were in the second innings bowlers mainly spinners but I think Dhanajaya did a fine job. For me, the way Thirimmane batted, also the way Pathum debut was like he was playing his 50th test match. Really good for the Srilanakan future. I think we were taking wickets in patches, we we need to improve the line and lengths we bowl. In test match, patience is key and we need to impover our patience while we bat in tests. I think West Indies were great and were in high spirits after winning agaist Bangladesh.

West Indies needed to win one of these test matches to get ahead of Sri Lanka in ICC World Test Ranks. Sri Lanka will be the happier of the two sides as the came into this test series after being white washed by West Indies in the ODI's.
As we entered the final hour of the day and this test match, West Indies skipper called it truce straight away as he shook hands with Oshada and Dinesh batting out in the middle. Another test that has been drawn as both the teams couldn't be distinguished even after 10 days of play.
Oshada batted alongside Dinesh coming into the final session, the duo got themselves in once again and took on the attack from the West Indies and found runs smartly. West Indies continued to toil but both the batters didn't lose an inch.
Dimuth regained his form and went on to reach his half-century, Lahiru although lost his wicket coming into the second session. Oshada came out next and looked firm out in the middle. Mayers bowling for struck gold as he got the wicket of Dimuth batting on 75.

Coming into Day 4, West Indies skipper once again provided them a firm start at the top. He went on to score 85 runs. Unfortunately for West Indies, their number 3 Bonner was ruled out of this match as he had issues concering his back.
Day 3 was rain-interrupted and it played in favor of Sri Lanka who were struggling to find big partnerships in trying to reach closer to 354 runs posted by West Indies. A decent knock by Pathum alongside the tail-enders helped Sri Lanka get their trail below 100 runs.
Sri Lanka coming in to bat in trying to get to 354 runs, Lahiru once again looked firm at the top as he went on to score 55 runs. Lankans had decent contributions in the middle order but they were not big enough. They had contributions of 44, 39, and 51 by Dinesh, Dhananjaya, and Pathum respectively.
West Indies apart from Kraigg had firm contributors in the middle order as Kyle Mayers scored a decent 49 runs and had a great finish from Rakheem towards the end as he scored 73 runs. These knocks helped Windies post 354 runs as the batted through the first 2 days of this test.
Another interesting test match unfolds here in Antigua, Sri Lanka this time won the toss and elected to bowl first. West Indies had a great contributor at the top in the form of their skipper Kraigg who lead the way and scored a century.
As we were about to enter the final hour of the session, Kraigg the West Indian skipper shook hands and called truce. There are hand shakes all around and that's another draw
Over: 79 | Summary: 2 0 0 1 0 0 Bowler: Rahkeem Cornwall Score: 193/2
78.6 Rahkeem Cornwall to Dinesh Chandimal, AND THAT WILL BE THE END OF THE TEST MATCH! Such a tame epilogue, to be honest! Loopy length ball dipping into the root of the offstump. Chandimal with his half-press forward yorks himself but manages to dig out the ball to short extra cover for no run
78.5 Rahkeem Cornwall to Dinesh Chandimal, back of length delivery on the wide offstump line. Chandimal moves towards the ball and works it back to Cornwall
