AEW Collision Live Results (January 20, 2024): Former WWE star debuts, Huge Brawl, The Rock referenced, Jon Moxley p*ssed off

Post-match, Ortiz apologizes to Eddie Kingston before Danielson spits on Kingston's face. Blackpool Combat Club members celebrate on the ramp to end the show.

After some back-and-forth, Bryan Danielson stomps on Ortiz. Danielson hits the Busaikuu Knee for the win as Claudio Castagnoli holds onto Eddie Kingson.

Kingston fights off both BCC members before tagging Ortiz. Ortiz and Kingston take down Claudio and Danielson with dives on the outside.

Bryan Danielson comes in and hits a flying headbutt for a two-count. Castagnoli attacks Ortiz outside the ring.

Eddie Kingston gets a two-count after an exploder suplex. Claudio Castagnoli hits a short arm lariat for a two-count.

Bryan Danielson comes in and unloads with multiple kicks. Ortiz makes his comeback with a lariat and tags in Eddie Kingston. Eddie and Claudio exchange stiff strikes. Castagnoli slaps Eddie, but the latter unloads with machine gun chops.

Eddie Kingston enters the ring, but Claudio takes advantage by dragging Ortiz away from him. Ortiz takes down Claudio, but the latter responds with the giant swing.

Bryan Danielson applies a surfboard on Ortiz and tags in Claudio Castagnoli. The Swiss star hits a running boot and follows up with a headlock.

Danielson avoids Kingston and starts posing. The Blackpool Combat Club members double-team Ortiz after some back-and-forth action.

Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson are the legal men. Both are trying to one-up each other. Danielson kicks Kingston and starts jumping.

Sydal hits a meteora and gets a two-count. Sydal rolls up Strong for another two-count. Strong knocks down Sydal and connects with the End of Heartache for the win.

After some back-and-forth, Strong gets a two-count on Sydal. Matt Sydal drops Roderick Strong and hits a hurricanrana. He hits a spinning heel kick.

Sydal takes out his former roommate on the floor. Sydal hits a drop toehold and kicks Strong on the knees. Matt Sydal unloads on Roderick Strong, but the latter hits a backbreaker.

FTR and Daniel Garcia challenge House of Black to a 6-man elimination match inside a steel cage.

Towards the end, Buddy Matthews hits a knee strike, but Daniel Garcia rolls up Matthews for the win.
Post-match, a huge brawl ensues.

Garcia applies the Sharpshooter in the ring, but Matthews slams his head on the mat. The HOB with some heavy knee strikes. He then hits a deadlift jackhammer for a close two-count.

Both men barely enter the ring before the 10-count. Daniel Garcia unloads on Buddy Matthews and slams the latter's injured knee on the ring post.

Garcia targets Matthews' injured knee, but the latter hits a kick. Daniel Garcia responds with a piledriver on the apron.

Buddy Matthews continues to have the upperhand despite potential injury. He wants to suplex Garcia on the steel steps, but fails to do so. However, Matthews knocks down Garcia with a knee strike.

FTR motivate Garcia. Daniel Garcia sends Buddy Matthews out of the ring before we get a six-man standoff. Matthews is seemingly injured, but he drops Garcia with a DDT.

Toni Storm cuts a promo on Deonna Purrazzo and sends a warning to her.

The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn and Bang Bang Gang finally unite. They will be known as Bang Bang Scissor Gang.

The Acclaimed and Gunn want to form a super faction and even tease Billy about getting some singles gold. Fans in the arena want the two factions to unite.

BCG introduce a cardboard cut out of Juice Robinson before The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn confront them.

NEW ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Bullet Club Gold come out to the ring. Austin Gunn references The Rock with "Finally the Bang Bang Gang has come back to Saturday nights baby!"

Ortiz and Eddie Kingston cut a promo ahead of their match against Blackpool Combat Club.

Queen Aminata drops Thunder Rosa on the mat and gets a two-count. She then hits a pump kick, but Rosa hits a running strike. Rosa hits the Tijuana Bomb for the win.

Queen Aminata hits a hip attack on Thunder, but misses a running boot. La Mera Mera hits a couple of running dropkicks and gets a two-count shortly after.

Aminata applies a submission move on Rosa's back. She stomps on Rosa's back. Aminata hits a snap suplex on Thunder Rosa.

Series of nearfalls before Queen Aminata hits a backbreaker. The action spills to the outside and Aminata continues to have the momentum.

Both stars look to wear each other down. Thunder Rosa applies a side headlock before getting a roll up for a two-count. Rosa hits a shoulder tackle and gets another nearfall shortly after.

Top Flight and Action Andretti are in backstage segment. Private Party confront them. They tease partying with Adam Copeland. Another match is teases between the two groups.

Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli are in a backstage segment. Danielson says losing against Eddie Kingston was the low point of his career. Bryan berates Kingston. Claudio is fed up.

Post-match, Adam Copeland says it is getting harder and harder every week. He heaps praise on Dante Martin. Copeland says he'll work hard. Adam Copeland vows to defeat Christian Cage for the TNT TITLE!!!

Martin goes for another high-flying move, but Copeland connects with the spear. He then applies a cross face on Martin for the win.

After some back-and-forth, both men are down on the mat. Adam Copeland looks for the spear, but misses. Dante Martin hits a moonsault, but Copeland puts his foot on the bottom rope.

Martin hits a hurricanrana on Copeland on the floor. He follows up with a tope suicida.

Adam Copeland applies a side headlock in the middle of the ring. Dante Martin makes his comeback with an enziguiri, but Copeland knocks him down from the ropes.

Copeland maintains the upperhand with some strikes on Martin's head. The Rated-R Superstar stomps on Martin and follows up with some elbow strikes.
