AEW Dynamite Live Results (April 10, 2024): SHOTS TAKEN AT TRIPLE H, CM PUNK-JACK PERRY ALL IN FOOTAGE, Adam Copeland retains

Post-match, Samoa Joe continues his attack on Dustin and applies the Coquina Clutch, but Swerve Strickland comes in with the House Call. He takes the steel chain and looks for further damage.

But multiple stars and officials rush down to the ring to separate the two. Strickland and Prince Nana celebrate in the ring with the AEW World Title as Samoa Joe looks angry.

He then strikes Dustin Rhodes with the AEW World Title and picks up the win over The Natural.

Samoa Joe wins

Dustin Rhodes charges at Samoa Joe in the corner, but the latter takes him down. Towards the end, Joe takes Swerve Strickland's chain, but the ref stops him.

Dustin Rhodes makes his comeback with a powerslam. After some back-and-forth, Dustin connects with the Cross Rhodes, but only gets a two-count.

Samoa Joe hits a senton and follows up with a pump kick for another nearfall. Dustin Rhodes is in bad shape as Joe continues his assault on The Natural.

Joe is in total control and he connects with some strikes on the wound. He hits a senton on Rhodes and gets a two-count.

Dustin Rhodes vs. Samoa Joe

Both men are quick off the blocks. The action spills to the outside and Samoa Joe slams Dustin Rhodes onto the ring post. Dustin is busted open.

We have the main event up next. Dustin Rhodes takes on Samoa Joe.

Mercedes Mone is in a backstage interview. She speaks about the Dynasty PPV and about her upcoming TBS Title match. Mone says she hates to lose and as she was about to answer who she wants to face, the lights go out. Someone attacks her and lays her on the floor.

The two celebrate in the ring to end the segment.

Post-match, Anna Jay locks in the QueenSlayer on Mariah May. Mina Shirakawa debuts on AEW Dynamite. She chases Jay away bringing a bottle of champagne and kissing May.

Towards the end of the match, Mariah May counters Anna Jay and gets the win with roll up.

After some back-and-forth, Mariah May gets a two-count on Ann Jay. Jay makes her comeback and connects with a flatliner for a two-count.

Anna Jay has some brief offense, but Mariah May makes her comeback and slams Jay on the barricades. Jay is also not backing down and she connects with some open-handed chops.

Jay turns things around and clobbers May. May reverses a vertical suplex before hitting a double chop. She then hits a tiharas before chocking Jay on the ropes.

Mariah May vs. Anna Jay

Both stars lock up in the initial stages of the match. Mariah May looks for headbutt, but Anna Jay dodges it. The two then exchange chops and strikes.

Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa are out for a "toast". But Storm attacks Rosa instead. Deonna Purrazzo comes out to make the save, but walks away after some confusion with Rosa.

We see a video package of Bang Bang Gang's heel turn on Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed.

Bang Bang Gang bring up their recent history. About putting Darby Allin on the shelf, retaining their ROH Six-Man Titles and putting a beatdown on Billy Gunn. He wants to do it again on Rampage.

PAC comes down to the ring, but The Young Bucks blindside him. The Elite lay down a beatdown on PAC and it leads to CM Punk chants. FTR come out for the save, but they get taken down as well.

The Elite stand tall.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Cristiano Argento

Kazuchika Okada quickly takes care of Cristiano Argento.

Post-match, Okada accepts PAC's challenge for AEW Dynasty. PAC comes out to the entrance ramp and has a stare down.

Dustin Rhodes cuts a fired up promo ahead of his match against Samoa Joe later in the night.

At one point in the match, Shibata knocks Chris Jericho off the apron. Towards the end of the match, an argument between Jericho and Hook leads to Moriarty getting the pinfall over Shibata with the Fang.

Post-match, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata stand in the ring as Chris Jericho looks upset.

Katsuyori Shibata unloads on Moriarty with chops and follows up with a running dropkick. He then hits a front headlock slam for a two-count.

Shane Taylor hits a scoop slam and follows up with a splash, but Jericho breaks the count. After some back-and-forth, Hook drops Moriarty with a suplex.

The heels isolate Hook in their corner and unload on him. Some cheap shots behind the referee's back as well.

He then connects with a chop in the corner. Taylor with another chop before he tags in Ogogo.

Katsuyori Shibata comes in and strikes down Moriarty. Shane Taylor is tagged in. Hook comes in and Taylor the FTW Champion down with a closthesline.

Chris Jericho and Anthony Ogogo start the match before Ogogo escapes out of the ring early and Jericho unloads on Lee Moriarty instead.

Ospreay then cuts up a hyped up promo on Bryan Danielson and praises The American Dragon before their match at AEW Dynasty. He vows to show everyone what he is made of at the upcoming PPV.

Ospreay brings up how he grinded his way up before saying that Triple H is only in his position because he was grinding with the boss' daughter (Stephanie McMahon). Ospreay says it is best to not provoke The Aerial Assassin.

Will Ospreay comes out and he brings up the rumour about him being afraid of the grind. A claim Triple H recently made without naming Ospreay.

We see a video package hyping up Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay at AEW Dynasty.

FTR come out to the ring and Cash Wheeler questions the motive to show the incident. Cash Wheeler says The Bucks need an excuse for their loss at All In. Wheeler says he is sick and tired of hearing and talking about the All In incident. Wheeler says FTR need to beat The Bucks at Dynasty.

Dax Harwood brings up his how The Bucks let everyone know about getting jobs for 100s of people with AEW. He says without The Bucks he might still be shaving Wheeler's back (WWE reference).

Harwood says Bucks used to care about AEW, but are now obsessed with EVP. He then hypes up the AEW roster and say they will carry the company on their backs. Harwood tells The Bucks to go home if they don't want to be a part of it.

Harwood says this is not about Wembley or All In, but about Dynasty and the tag titles. He hypes the match to end the segment.

The Young Bucks say the worst part about the whole thing is being distracted and losing on their big night. The Bucks then bring up FTR wanting to shake hands after a tainted win and say they are not shaking hands with FTR at Dynasty.

The Bucks then accuse FTR of being the masterminds behind the whole incident. However, they add that saying it very unprofessional. The Bucks claim the whole incident threw them off their game at All In.

After some more words, The Young Bucks show the footage between CM Punk and Jack Perry. We see Punk confronting Perry and saying some words before shoving him and applingy a choke.

Samoa Joe drags Perry to one side and other officials holds Punk on the other side. Punk then seemingly confronts someone (Tony Khan?) before walking away.

The Young Bucks give context by bringing in their match against FTR at AEW Dynasty. They then speak about the two teams' All In match and how they still have some wounds from that event.

The Bucks hype All In 2023 before speaking about the All In incident. They say that Jack Perry is a scapegoat in this all and even reference CM Punk's quotes about Perry (if you have got a problem with Jack Perry, chances are you are the problem), while he was in a AEW.

The Bucks, without naming Punk, say that he tried to make the entire show about himself. They also mention about FTR being friends with Punk.

Copeland and Willow challenge Julia Hart and Brody King to a match next week.

Mark Briscoe is congratulated for his ROH World Title win. Eddie Kingston and Briscoe say they are beat up. Adam Copeland and Willow come in and Copeland says he is good after HOB's assault.

We see a video package looking back at The Young Bucks and FTR's AEW feuds. The Bucks will reveal unseen All In footage NEXT.

We see Chris Jericho, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata in a backstage segment. The Ocho has a plan laid out for their match against Shane Taylor Promotions.

House of Black members run away from Willow and Copeland to end the segment.

Post-match, the lights go out and Julia Hart appears. Brody King comes in from behind and attacks Adam Copeland. He chokes Copeland out before Willow Nightingale for the save.

Penta snaps Copeland's arm. Towards the end of the match, Penta looks for a springboard move, but Adam Copeland finally connects with the spear to retain his title.

Adam Copeland spears Alex Abrahantes on the outside, but Penta superkicks him. Penta connects with an avalanche Code Red, but only for a two-count.

Penta rocks Copeland with a gamangiri, but Copeland takes him down on the apron. Copeland drops Penta with a powerslam on the apron.
