AEW Dynamite Live Results (June 26, 2024): Jon Moxley involved in huge brawl, major return, SHOTS TAKEN AT TRIPLE H AND CODY RHODES?

Post-match, Ospreay and Strickland have a confrontation. Will Ospreay puts his hands on the AEW World Title and Swerve Strickland drops him with the House Call to make a strong statement.

Towards the end of the match, Strickland kicks Liona and Ospreay hits the Oscutter, but Toa Liona KICKS OUT. Strickland snaps Kaun's arm as Ospreay looks on. Will Ospreay connects with the Hidden Blade on Liona for the win.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland win

Will Ospreay gets a two-count on Bishop Kaun with a Spanish Fly. Ospreay mistakenly hits Strickand and Gates of Agony double team The Aerial Assassin.

He comes in with a flurry of offense and hits the Oscutter on Toa Liona. He hits the standing moonsault press on Kaun, but gets dropped with a jackhammer after some distraction from Liona. Strickland takes Liona out with the Swerve Stomp on the outside.

Swerve Strickland makes his comeback and looks to make the tag to Will Ospreay. Bishop Kaun takes Ospreay out on the apron. Liona gets a two-count on Strickland. Miscommunication between Gates of Agony and Swerve tags Ospreay in.

Ospreay almost hits Strickland and Toa Liona takes advantage to take both men down. Gates of Agony are in control during this stage of the match. They have isolated Strickland and taking turns to wear him down.

Gates of Agony are quick off the blocks. Will Ospreay unloads on Bishop Kaun before tagging in Swerve Strickland. He hits a standing moonsaut press for a two-count.

Post-match, The Undisputed Kingdom look after Kyle O'Reilly as Orange Cassidy confronts Zack Sabre Jr. TMDK come to ZSJ's side before Tomohiro Ishii joins OC to stand tall.

Kyle O'Reilly takes Zack Sabre Jr. down with a knee strike before the two exchange open hand strikes. Towards the end of the match, ZSJ applies an armbar on Kyle O'Reilly to pick up the submission win.

After some more reversals and technical wrestling, KOR applies an ankle lock and targets Sabre Jr.s leg. Zack Sabre Jr. tries to get the win with an inside cradle and applies a jujigatame shortly after. KOR drops ZSJ and follows up with a rolling elbow strike.

After some back-and-forth, ZSJ targets O'Reilly's arm and snaps KOR's fingers. He the follows up with some uppercuts before Kyle applies a guillotine.

We see some technical wrestling in the initial stages of the match. Zack Sabre Jr. applies a headscissors and takes Kyle O'Reilly down. KOR gets up and kicks ZSJ on the back.

Samoa Joe, Hook, Katsuyori Shibata make their way to the ring. After some verbal back-and-forth, we see a minor brawl among the six men.

Chris Jericho then introduces Minor Suzuki as the special partner for the match against Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata. However, Suzuki doesn't want to partner Jericho's crew and instead challenges Chris Jericho to a singles match.

Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith make their way out. We learn that Keith has suffered an injury to his arm. Jericho takes the mic and says he is in AEW for the young guys. A shot at Cody Rhodes' recent comments.

We see a video package hyping up Mercedes Mone and Stephanie Vaquer. Mone appears in a backstage segment and says she will be on Collision to watch Vaquer's match.

Post-match, Storm, Shirakawa and May celebrate in the ring. Mina Shirakawa tries to attack Toni Storm with the champagne glass, but she hits Mariah May instead. Both look concerned and Storm is very angry.

After some back-and-forth and shenanigans, Toni Storm is tagged in. She connects with a German suplex on Saraya and hip attacks on her opponents. Things break down with all stars hitting some big moves.

Saraya comes in with some vicious strikes on Mariah May. Harley Cameron also gets some knee strikes in before bouncing May's head on the mat.

May charges at Harley Cameron, but gets dropped on the mat. May spins Harley in the ring and drops her. Some confusion among Maria May's teammates. Cameron gets the upperhand and May has been isolated in the heels' corner.

Toni Storm, Mariah May, Mina Shirakawa vs. Saraya, Harley Cameron, Anna Jay

Mina Shirakawa and Anna Jay start the match. Shirakawa gets the better of Jay and starts showboating. She drops Jay with an enziguiri and tags in Mariah May instead of Toni Storm.

Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly and Orange Cassidy are in a backstage segment. They cut promos on Zack Sabre Jr.

The Elite challenge The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn to a match at Forbidden Door. Gunn says he has friends in top positions and then we learn that HIROSHI TANAHASHI will fight The Elite at Forbidden Door.

Bowens says The Acclaimed will become 2-time tag team champions after they beat The Bucks. The Acclaimed and Gunn want to do their scissoring, but The Elite stop them. Kazuchika Okada tells The Acclaimed to scissor him and calls them b**ch.

The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn make their way to the ring. Max Caster says that The Acclaimed defeating The Young Bucks was not surprising. He says The Bucks cannot run production and the company. Anthony Bowens vows to beat The Bucks one more time. This time for the gold.

Who will be The Elite's wildcard entrant?

The Young Bucks are in backstage segment. Nicholas Jackson says anger got the better of him last time agains The Acclaimed, but they will win when the gold in on the line. The Bucks say Kazuchika Okada is still the champion and soon Jack Perry win the TNT Title.

The Bucks then inform that they will have a wildcard entrant in the Owen Hart Cup so that they can have all the gold.

Post-match, The Patriarchy come out and confront the Bang Bang Gang.

Rey Fenix counters a Blade Runner and rolls Jay White for a two-count. After some counters, White finally connects with the Blade Runner and advances in the Owen Hart Cup.

White then follows up with a sheer drop brainbuster for another two-count. HOW DID REY FENIX KICK OUT?? Fenix counters White and gets a two-count. White drops Fenix with an uranage for another nearfall.

Rey Fenix hits a frog splash for a two-count on Jay White. He the follows up with a hurricanrana for another nearfall. White stops Fenix with a DDT on the mat.

White is in complete control of the match and he talks smack to Fenix. The Switchblade corners Rey Fenix and follows up with a huge chop. Fenix tries to make a comeback. He connects with a superkick and another one.

Back in the ring, White connects with a neckbreaker for a two-count on Fenix. The action spills to the outside and the two men exchange chops and strikes. Jay White emerges on top before taking a shot at some fans.

The bell finally rings and Rey Fenix tries to get the quick win. White recovers and connects with elbow strikes and chops. Fenix takes him down with headscissors. Fenix hits a single leg dropkick and follows up with a tope on the outside.
