Starks counters the Lethal injection and flips Lethal slamming him face-first into the mat for the pinfall win.

Starks and Lethal once again trade knife-edge chops in the center of the ring. Lethal wins the battle with a corkscrew Enziguri. Hobbs interferes once again and Lethal looks to take him out with a Suicide Dive. Dante Martin comes in out of nowhere and takes out Hobbs.

After a series of counters, Starks hits a Powerbomb on Lethal for a two count.

Lethal gets out of the way as Starks runs into the turnbuckle. Lethal attempts to pin Starks multiple times but the latter kicks out every time.

Both superstars are down but Starks recovers first.

Starks holds down Lethal with a front headlock but the challenger lands blows to Starks' midsection to fight back.

Lethal manages to fight back but runs into an overhead toss for a two count.

Both superstars are back in the ring as Starks drives his knee into Lethal's neck.

Lethal lands a couple of Suicide Dives on Starks to the outside.

Lethal trips Starks which forces him out of the ring.

Lethal goes for the ground and pound but Starks counters it. They enter into a chop fest next where Lethal gains the upper hand.

Starks slaps Lethal which enrages him.

The match starts with a collar and elbow tie-up. Lethal transitions into a side headlock and then takes Starks down with a tackle.

Backstage, Martinez says she is here in AEW to take Rosa out by any means necessary. Britt Baker says she brought in Martinez to take Rosa out and Disqualification is not what she had in mind. She warns Martinez to pick up a win over Rosa next time or she would be fired.
