India also defeated New Zealand in the Women's Fours Lawn Bowls event. All three teams have been guaranteed a medal in their respective events.
A few players had disappointing performances on Day 4 of the Commonwealth Games. Sathiyan Gnanasekaran defeats Nigeria's Olajide Omotayo 3 - 1 to storm India into the finals. He started with an 11 - 9 victory before losing 4 - 11 to the Nigerian in the 2nd game. However, Sathiyan got back to winning ways with scores of 11 - 6 and 11 - 8 in his next couple of games.
They will now take on Singapore in a bid to bag the gold medal on August 2, Tuesday at 6:00 PM IST.
