Men's Discus Throw F42-44/61-64 FINAL

India's representation from three throwers has come down to two, with Aneesh Kumar Pillai having failed to start the competition. Devender Kumar has registered 45.10m in his second throw, while Devendra Gahlot is a far way behind with a best of 42.13.

That's the end of the misery for Barbados. India win comfortably by 100 runs in the end. They coast through to the semis, and they will hope to repeat this performance in the knockouts as well. 62/8 in 20 overs for Barbados.

Women's Shot Put Final - Manpreet Kaur knocked out.

A sub-par performance from the Indian considering the rest of the competition field, her best effort came in her last throw - but the 15.59m was never going to be enough to even take her into the Top 8.

SWIMMING - Men's 1500m Freestyle Final

Advait Page and Kushagra Rawat finish in Rank 7 & 8, respectively. Advait finished the race in 15:32.36 minutes, while Kushagra took 15:42.67 minutes to complete the race. No medal for India in this event!

Men's High Jump Final - Tejaswin Shankar wins the BRONZE medal; fails to clear the 2.28m height on his final jump.

Shankar doesn't manage to clear the 2.25m mark on his third and final attempt, but thanks to making the least faults while attempting the previous marks, the Indian is awarded the bronze medal!

The youngster decided to save his final attempt for a shot at 2.28m, which would have put him into gold medal contention! In hindsight, a good move considering he already had the bronze, but he fails to make the 2.28+ jump and settles for 3rd place.

BOXING - Women's 70kg

Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain loses 2 - 3 to Wales' Rosie Eccles. It was a close-fought game, but eventually, Lovlina ended up on the losing side. She lost her quarter-final bout and has crashed out of the event.

Going from bad to worse now for Barbados as Radha Yadav gets in on the act. 45/7 in 14.1 overs. 118 needed in 35 balls if anyone is keeping track.

Gurdeep Singh fails to lift 167kg in his first Snatch attempt. The Indian weightlifter needs at least one legal lift in the Snatch discipline to progress to Clean & Jerk.

He will 167kg in his 2nd attempt. And yes, Gurdeep has done it and will surely compete in the Clean & Jerk discipline as well.

SILVER FOR TULIKA MAAAN!!! She loses to Scotland's Sarah Adlington by Ippon in the Women's +78kg Final match. However, the Indian player has won a silver medal for India.
