Update: Olympics organizers issue notice that might guarantee Aditi Ashok golf silver medal if bad weather halts play

The action starts early tomorrow with everything to play for. This is as big a stage as it gets!
Even if a few feel that a three stroke lead goin into the final round is enough, we saw with Nelly, what pressure can do. Aditi too had a blip in the middle there, but she bounced back with two birdies in her last 4 holes to open a two stroke lead over third placed golfers. Diksha on the other hand carded a solid one-over par round with a bogey free back 9. Third straight improved round.

Another good day for India at the golf course today!

Aditi consolidated on her awesome performance with another stupendous show. Agree, there were a few nerves in between which showed in her putting in the middle, but how well did she come back! 2 birdies in the last 3 holes. We saw Nelly Korda sweating and making a few unforced errors towards the end, didn't we? Golfers too are humans after all...

Diksha had a very inspiring outing today. She carded a bogey free last 9 and +1 for the day. What a fine young talent she is.

So at the end of Round 3, Nelly Korda (US) leads at -15, Aditi is solo 2nd on -12, then we have 4 golfers tied on 3rd. Leaderboard coming up.

Aditi leaves the birdie putt short! Sinks in her par. She maintains 2 stroke lead over 3rd place golfers. Stays 3 off the lead.

Madsen finishes +1 for the day at 8 under tied 7th

Pure class & skill from Nelly! Great out from the rough to set up a tap in par.

Nelly will look to do an up & down from rough. She took help to get the cables removed after duly marking her ball. Lesson for all amateurs there.

Ooh! we heard Aditi's cries of "Go..." right upto India.... Must've skipped a beat there... but great second shot on the 18th! Sets up a long birdie putt...

Mone Inami drops a stroke on 18th. Finishes -3 for the day. Tied 3rd at -10 for the tournament.

While we wait for the 18th green to clear, Diksha rounds up her 3rd round at +1 for the day. An even par back 9. Brilliant. A solid card for her. She is Tied 52nd at +7 for the tournament. Well done girl!

2 holes to go for Aditi today. Can she setup a birdie on 17th? She does! Beautifully done. 14footer for birdie, which is smack in the middle of her putting range
