Edge calls out Reigns for bringing out backup, claiming that the Universal Champion is already sweating him. Reigns assures him that there's nothing to worry about. Paul won't attack him.

Edge knows that he's already living rent-free in the head of the Universal Champion. Frustrated, Reigns sends Jey to the back before demanding Edge should acknowledge him as the main event of WrestleMania and the top choice of champions. Edge refuses, and simply steps back as Kevin Owens runs in for a stunner. Reigns is unable to get up before the Rated-R Superstar leaves, leaving the WWE Universe to wait even longer for his answer.

Edge says he's here to win back the thing he never lost. After dreaming to come back for years, he wins the Royal Rumble and has the opportunity at the greatest selection of champions WWE has had in a long time. Before he could make his announcement, he's interrupted by The Tribal Chief, who of course has Paul and Jey with him.

It's time. Edge is here. Will he answer Roman Reigns' threat?

Crews attempts to finish off Big E, only to be caught by the defiant champion with a Big Ending.

Big E defeats Apollo Crews via pinfall.

On the apron, Zayn counters the spear and hits the Helluva Kick. Before he could secure the win, Crews yanks him out at two. Zayn, furious, looks to kick Crews' head off. However, Crews fights back, battering the former IC Champion with a series of rights and dumping him over the barricade into the timekeeper's area.

Apollo sets up for an exploder and is caught by E, who sends Apollo overhead with a German. Apollo's grip held, sending Sami across the ring with an exploder suplex.

Crews manages to hit a sky-high frog splash on Zayn, but just can't get the win.
...
Zayn has taken over during the break, and when we come back he's got E struggling in the ropes. A blue thunder bomb is blocked, though, and Big E sends him out the ring. Apollo is planted with a belly-to-belly, but Zayn runs back in for a sleeper hold. E finds both men laying side by side and hits his running body splash on both of them. Apollo counters a Big Ending with a Bad New Brown style Ghetto Blaster. E sends him out to the floor and counters a Helluva Kick with a uranage slam.

Big E sends Apollo to the apron, but Zayn stops the spear, dragging him to the floor. Crews takes the opportunity given to him, hitting a phenomenal plancha over the ropes. A moonsault off the apron nearly cracks E's ribs.
...
Zayn immediately ducks to the floor, leaving Big E and Apollo Crews to battle in the ring. E hammers the former US Champion with some back elbows, with Zayn running back in at the most opportune time. E still overpowered him, sending him out again.

Crews caught the champion with a trio of German suplexes for a near fall.
...
It's time for the Intercontinental Championship Match. Will Big E be able to silence both of these competitors? Will Apollo finally prove himself against two of the greatest Superstars on SmackDown? Will Sami prove the haters wrong and get some great footage for his documentary? Find out...right now!

Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart appear, and Hogan's set to talk about his incredible match with Andre the Giant. He then picks Edge as a future champion at WrestleMania, whoever he may face.

Gable gets to Otis, and the former MITB winner dumps both tag champs on their heads. A running discus lariat lays out Zigler, and Otis crushes Roode in the corner for the caterpillar. Gable runs in for the finish, only to be attacked by Ziggler. The Chaos Theory plants Ziggler, but that gives Roode enough time to hit the Glorious DDT.

Dirty Dawgs defeat Alpha Academy via pinfall.

The olympian manages to show up the Show-Off, but is knocked off his pedestal by the Glorious One.
...
The Dirty Dawgs enter the ring with some new theme music. Ziggler starts off with Gable as The Street Profits appear in a box at the corner of the screen, commenting on the match.
...
Mr. "Blue Collar Solid" is here, alongside Chad Gable. The Alpha Academy may not have won the Royal Rumble, but they've still got their eyes on the gold. Tonight, the SmackDown Tag Champions are gonna "get these hips."
...
Paul Heyman reports to Roman Reigns that Edge is finally here. Who will the Rated-R Superstar choose, and if it's not Roman, what does the Tribal Chief have in store?

Banks states the obvious. Bianca Belair has it all. However, she doesn't have the gold. Before Belair can answer, Reginald interrupts again, saying that she'll lose should she face Sasha. Belair responds by whipping Reginald with her hair. Banks is cracking a grin while Carmella is stunned by what she's seen.
...
Carmella joins in on the trash talk but is quickly interrupted by SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks. The Boss is putting Mella in her rear view and is instead focused on the EST of WWE.
...
Before Bianca can make her decision, Carmella's sommelier Reginald interrupts. He says that Bianca may be able to beat Asuka, but she can't beat Banks. She can't even beat Carmella. Speaking of which...it's Carmella!
...
Bianca Belair is here, and she goes down the opponents that she can face on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Ruby's shoulder is injured, and Bayley eyes in on the fresh target. Still, Ruby's able to send her face into the corner and follows up with an avalanche arm drag. Escaping the Bayley-to-Belly, Riott is unfortunately sent neck first onto the bottom rope. Bayley is unable to follow up with a powerbomb to the floor but is able to hang her up in the ropes anyway. The Rose Plant finishes Ruby off.

Bayley defeats Ruby Riott via pinfall.
...
Bayley faces off against Ruby Riott while Liv Morgan is at ringside. Ex-Riott Squad member Billie Kay is at the commentary table. Riott takes the fight to Bayley early, but the former SmackDown Women's Champion turns things around with snake eyes.
