We really think this is a great idea and could work under the right circumstances. Sure it's a little bit different, but when has that ever been a bad thing? There could be certain regulations put in place regarding the longest duration one of the two men can stay in the Octagon, with the tag partners waiting either in the corner or just outside.

Imagine if one guy gets rocked by a great shot and you know the fight is probably about to end, only for his partner to tag in so that the war can continue.

It would allow for a great psychological battle and whilst we already see a lot of that in the world of mixed martial arts, it'd be interesting to see how the fighters carry themselves with someone else fighting alongside them.
