Bellator 217: Gallagher vs Graham took place in Dublin Ireland, as Bellator MMA continued its expansion outside the United States.

James Gallagher vs Steven Graham
Headlined by a fight between James Gallagher and Steven Graham in a fight that only lasted a couple of moments, before James Gallagher was able to put his opponent away.
The fight began with Graham coming out of the gate firing huge shots but was not able to continue that momentum as Gallagher had been ready for him. Within moments Gallagher put on a clinic of grappling offence, before finally ending the fight with a Rear Naked Choke Submission half-way through the first round.
Gallagher had suffered the first loss of his career at 22-years of age in his last fight, and this return to winning ways was quite the statement from the fighter.
Myles Price vs Peter Queally
Myles Price and Peter Queally were put up in a grudge match together, with a lot of hatred present between the two co-main eventers. Instead of fighting each other as most people had expected, with a hard-hitting offensive style, Price disappointed and earned boos from the pro-Queally crowd with continuous takedown attempts.
As a result, he was able to control the pace of the fight as a whole, and this helped him to win the match on the basis of the offence he put out. Queally meted out far more damage than he did, but the manner in which Price maintained distance and controlled the fight saw the judges rule in his favour in a Split Decision.
Other than the main event and the co-main event, the headlining fight on the Preliminary Card also caught the attention of the viewers for the amazing finish.
Charlie Ward vs Jamie Stephenson
Charlie Ward and Jamie Stephenson squared off on the preliminary card as the last fight which took place before the main card, it was an exciting one. Charlie Ward waited for Jamie Stephenson to come in reach, and the very first time he did, it was over.
A huge left knocked him to the ground, after which he followed him up with several shots to the head to finish the fight.
