Patricio 'Pitbull' Freire was circled by Juan Archuleta early on and then kicked in the cup. Thankfully, Pitbull was able to continue. Archuleta fell down and while backing up tried an upkick which almost worked for him.

Thankfully, Pitbull survived and locked in the Guillotine Choke. He let the choke go and continued to dominate with knees, hammerfists, and finally a mount that closed off the 1st round.

The second round saw Archuleta poke Freire in the eye. He was still able to continue although neither fighter engaged much for the rest of the round. The MMA fans gathered around were not too happy.

The third round saw Pitbull drop Archuleta, hit him with elbows and go for the choke. Archuleta was bleeding a lot, but was able to continue. Pitbull ended the third round with the Guillotine Choke. The bell was the only thing that saved Archuleta there.

Freire dropped Archuleta yet again in the fourth round as he was able to take the back. Archuleta got a Guillotine Choke in but let go for a knee and missed. He hit Freire with another shot to the cup, with the referee shooting a warning that it should not be repeated again. There were quite a few stoppages in the round.

The fifth and final round saw Freire hurt Archuleta with shot after shot. There was really no competition there. The fight ended with Freire slamming Archuleta as the bell rang to end the fifth round. The Bellator Champion was able to continue on the Featherweight Grand Prix tournament unhampered.
