Gallagher made easy work of Roman Salazar in Dublin tonight

SBG's James Gallagher secured himself as a true superstar in the world of mixed martial arts in this headline bout against Roman Salazar in his hometown of Dublin.

It took Gallagher just a matter of seconds to take his opponent to the mat, where he was able to secure a tight guillotine hold on Salazar.

Salazar held out for a few moments before admitting defeat and tapping out in the early stages of round one; causing rapturous celebrations in stands of the 3 Arena, Dublin.

Gallagher was quick to jump over the cage to celebrate with Conor McGregor and the rest of his SBG team mates before revelling in the adulation of the Dublin support.

Due to the leisurely manner of Gallagher's victory, it is expected that we will see the Irishman back in action sooner rather than later.
