Bellator London 2: MVP vs Melillo took place on 23rd November 2019, in the SSE Arena in London. The main event was a spectacular fight between Michael 'Venom' Page and Giovanni Melillo, with Page looking to take out the fighter on his own home turf.

Bellator London Main Card Results

Terry Brazier vs Soren Bak

Bak's role in the match showcased his prowess as a Danish youth wrestling champion, by taking down Brazier repeatedly. Brazier managed to hit him with a couple of big shots. Bak was still dominant in the first round.

This continued in the second and the third round, with Brazier being kept down on the ground and not really being able to escape. Being continuously grounded by Bak, Brazier was less than happy and called Bak 'f***ing boring'. Bak would not be pushed away from his strategy and he continued to work on Brazier on the ground, ultimately getting the win with the help of the Unanimous Decision.

Results: Soren Bak defeated Terry Brazier via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Fabian Edwards vs Michael Shipman

The MMA co-main event of the night was far more competitive with Fabian Edwards facing Michael Shipman. The first round saw both men strike each other repeatedly in the competitive close contest. Shipman was able to outstrike him in the first and the fact was that it went to Shipman when he took Edwards to the cage.

The second round saw more wrestling from Shipman, with Edwards really unable to turn the fight to his favor.

The final round saw Edwards pump the gas and blew up Shipman with several shots and he caught Shipman with elbows and strokes. The Bellator judges scored it in Edwards' favor via Split Decision.

Results: Fabian Edwards defeated Michael Shipman via Split Decision(28-29, 29-28, 30-27)

Michael Venom Page vs Giovanni Melillo

The main event saw Michael Venom Page walk into the Octagon against the hometown favorite Giovanni Melillo., This was Melillo's Bellator MMA debut as he stepped in at the last minute to replace Derek Anderson who had to pull out of the fight.

Unfortunately for Melillo, his Bellator debut will not be remembered for the skills he showcased in the Octagon. Instead, it will be remembered for the simplicity with which Michael Page was able to knock him out with one incredibly strong right.

At no point did it look like Melillo stood a chance against MVP. The MMA fight lasted only 1 minute and 47 seconds, throughout which MVP was able to put through what he could do in the cage.

Melillo was waiting for him to move and shoot straight, but this time he changed it up and went for a right hook coming in from the outside and that was all he needed.
