After impressing in his UFC debut, Bo Nickal has made an instant impact in his division and is already being called out for potential matchups, with International Fight Week looking like a possible destination for his second outing.

The NCAA Division I wrestler has made waves in the sport since debuting professionally back in June last year, winning each of his fights and showcasing his ability in other facets of MMA. Jorge Masvidal's iKon FC gave the star a platform to build on, an opportunity he grabbed with both hands.

In a post on social media, Tresean Gore revealed that the UFC contacted him about potentially meeting Bo Nickal in the octagon next, with July 8 being the most likely date for their clash:

"The UFC let me know about four or five days ago about this potential matchup and I'm all in and agreed the moment the opportunity was offered to me!... How do you guys feel about me and Bo on July 8, International Fight Week? The night two legends collide Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. How would y'all feel about us opening up that pay-per-view because again, I'm in!"

Tresean Gore has had a tough start to his UFC career but looks determined to turn his fortunes around and wants to build off his most recent performance.

After losing a decision to Bryan Battle, the powerhouse was knocked out against Cody Brundage. The middleweight returned just three months later and earned his first win inside the octagon when he perfectly executed a guillotine choke that put his opponent Josh Fremd to sleep.

Bo Nickal's next fight: Does a Tresean Gore matchup make sense for the prospect?

Bo Nickal made quick work of Jamie Pickett in his UFC debut, proving that he is one of the hottest prospects in the sport right now. But what does a Tresean Gore matchup do for him?

While 'Mr. Vicious' may not be the big name the grappler was looking for, it will be a valuable experience for Nickal if he intends on making it to the top of the 185-pound division.

A well-rounded fighter with dynamite in his hands, Gore can finish the bout wherever it takes place, which should bring out the ever-evolving skill set of Bo Nickal.
