Conor McGregor's hunger and ambition to succeed during his UFC career has helped him raise the bar for what is possible for all MMA fighters globally. 'The Notorious' reshaped the way fighters viewed the art of self-promotion, with his quick-wittedness and brazen persona helping him become the wealthiest MMA fighter of all time.

McGregor is currently in Sin City to film season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter alongside Michael Chandler, who will operate as coaches for the respective teams on the show.

'The Notorious' and Michael Chandler began filming the latest season of TUF several weeks ago. The pair of lightweight stars are set to battle after the show's season finale airs, but the UFC are yet to finalize a date for their clash.

McGregor suffered a broken leg in his last fight at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier, in July 2021. The Irishman was removed from the USADA drug-testing pool in light of "exceptional circumstances" following his injury.

McGregor will need to re-enter the pool for at least six months prior to stepping into the octagon, meaning that his potential clash with Chandler will take place no sooner than September.

Michael Chandler shares what weight his fight with Conor McGregor could take place at

Michael Chander and Conor McGregor are set to face off in the octagon following the conclusion of season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter.

McGregor has been recovering from a broken leg since July 2021, and 'The Notorious' has put on an enormous amount of muscle mass during his absence from fighting.

Given McGregor's newfound physique, there has been speculation about which weight class he will fight Chandler at. Many believe it's impossible for Conor McGregor to make 155 pounds, his previous weight class.

'Iron' recently appeared in front of the media to discuss his potential bout with McGregor and gave an hint about the fight's weight class.

"[Conor] is talking about 185 [pounds] you know, we'll see. I called his bluff. I think he doesn't think I'm as heavy and as dense as I am. I'm sitting here at 191 pounds so I'll fight at 185 [pounds], at 170. If Dana steps in and gets his way, possibly it's 155 [pounds]."
