UFC two-divisional champion Amanda Nunes has never fought Gabi Garcia. Garcia is a multi-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) world champion. She is also undefeated in MMA and holds a record of six wins and one no-contest.

The IBJJ hall of Famer is considered one of the most successful female jiu-jitsu practitioners in history. Standing at 6 ft. 2' inches and weighing 235-pounds, Garcia's grappling record stands at 71 wins against 10 losses.

She has since retired from IBJJF competitions after her November 2022 defeat against jiu-jitsu protege Amy Campo. According to statistics provided by BJJHEROS, 22-year-old Campo is a two-time IBJJF world champion.

The Brazilian last competed in mixed martial arts in 2018 against Barbara Nepomuceno at Rizin 14. She won the bout via first-round submission due to a keylock. However, the jiu-jitsu extraordinaire has never competed in the UFC.

A matchup between Nunes and Garcia is highly unlikely to ever materialize owing to one major factor. While Gabi is a heavyweight competitor, the highest the UFC double champion has fought is at 145 pounds.

Amanda Nunes currently holds a pro record of 22 wins against five losses. She is the only two-time double-champion in UFC history. Nunes currently holds both the bantamweight and featherweight straps.

Who has Amanda Nunes lost against?

Although UFC two-division champion Amanda Nunes is clearly a step above her competition, 'The Lioness' has lost on five occasions in her MMA career. Her latest loss came in a second-round submission loss to Julianna Pena at UFC 269.

Before losing her bantamweight title to Pena last December, Nunes was on a 12-fight win streak. The 34-year-old has since reclaimed her title from Pena earlier this year at UFC 277.

The Brazilian's only other loss in the UFC came against Cat Zingano at UFC 178. 'Alpha' finished Nunes with a flurry of elbows and punches in the third round of their fight.

'The Lioness' also lost via unanimous decision to Sarah D'Alelio at Invicta FC 4 in 2013. Also during her Strikeforce bout against Alexis Davis, Nunes succumbed to a second-round TKO defeat.

Another interesting fact about the UFC star athlete is that she fell prey to a submission loss on her MMA debut. At Prime-MMA Championship 2, the Brazilian was submitted by Ana Maria in just 35 seconds.

However, none of these defeats had any long-standing bearing on 'The Lioness'. With a string of impressive achievements and a stellar resume, she is now arguably one of the best women mixed martial artists of all time.
