Bewildered fans across the MMA circuit took to Instagram to share their reactions and thoughts about Christian Lee’s recent crowning at ONE on Prime Video 4.
In an unexpected turn of events, ‘The Warrior’ put on a heroic and career-altering performance against Kiamrian Abbasov to claim the ONE welterweight world title.
Achieving almost the impossible that night after a rocky start in the first round, the Singapore-American striker beat the odds with a historic KO finish in the fourth round to claim his second straight world title this year.
Soon afterwards, ONE Championship shared a full reel of photos on Instagram to include all the big winners of that night, including Christian Lee carrying both the lightweight and middleweight world titles at the forefront.

Christian Lee says a “true champion never quits” in post-fight interview at ONE on Prime Video 4
Christian Lee proved all his doubters wrong with a brilliant comeback victory against the toughest welterweight on the planet, Kiamrian Abbasov.
Surviving a barrage of hooks and strikes that dropped him in the first round, Lee bounced back with all the strength and energy he had left to end the round strong with a takedown.
Fans were left in awe as both exhausted fighters traded punches with what little energy they had left. With laboring breaths, Lee made the last push in the fourth round to end the fight as he saw Abbasov surviving on his last legs.
