America's Janet Todd is scheduled to face Brazil's Allycia Hellen Rodrigues in a women's atomweight Muay Thai world title unification bout—and fans couldn't be more excited.

The title bout will go down in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. 'JT' earned this title shot after attaining the interim belt with her win over Lara Fernandez last July.

Janet Todd shares excitement for the Muay Thai scene in the United States

Janet Todd has taken notice of the recent growing popularity of Muay Thai in the United States. The interim champ spoke to ONE Championship about the topic, saying:

“I think in the United States, we have like the United States Muay Thai Federation that's been doing some really big things for the sport, not just for women, but for Muay Thai in general. That's actually been helping and has been giving more women more experience in tournaments, bringing up their experience so that they can compete at the world stage.

"And most recently, at IFMA World Games, a lot of women from our U.S. team medaled against people that competed from all over the world.”
