#3. Mike Jackson suing Jake Shields for UFC P.I. altercation
UFC fighter Mike Jackson is pressing charges against Jake Shields for the altercation at the Performance Institute.
The two got into a scuffle at the training center over some online arguments that led to blows being landed. A video that went viral appeared to show Shields being the instigator of the melee.
Speaking with MMA Junkie days later, Jackson revealed that he plans on following up and taking legal action:
"You can’t just walk around assaulting people and think there’s no consequences for your actions. You can’t do that. You know what I’m saying? And all the people who support him, cool, support him. These people don’t matter either.”

Jackson also revealed his side of the story. He said that the beef allegedly started when he called Shields 'racist' online. Jackson has since doubled down on his take by calling Shields "a thug Nazi" on Twitter.
#2. Sean Strickland could become a murderer and have his own Netflix show: Sean O'Malley
Sean O'Malley almost always has a deadpan humorous take on controversial matters in and around mixed martial arts.
Talking about Sean Strickland in a recent clip on his YouTube channel, O'Malley told his brother that he wouldn't want to fight the kind of crazy that the UFC middleweight brings to the table.
His brother Daniel O'Malley brought up Alex Pereira's recent comments, where the newly crowned middleweight champion said he was scared of Strickland before their fight at UFC 276 started.
In response, O'Malley added:
"That guy is a character... If someone's going to be a murderer in a Netflix series in a couple of years, it's going to be Sean Strickland. He'll be like, 'I'm going to have a series come out where I killed my wife.'"

#1. Conor McGregor backs East Wall protestors
Residents of East Wall in Ireland took to the streets recently to protest against the treatment of nearly 400 asylum seekers who have been housed in the ESB building in Dublin. They're demanding better living conditions for the Ukrainian refugees.
Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor took to Twitter amid the protests to joke about his intentions to run for president. He was held accountable by a fan, who asked him how he would tackle the issue and the subsequent protests.
In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor said:
"I stand with the people of East Wall. And no I do not want to be a politician. Just that they have to answer to me."
His recent activity on Twitter also included him calling out Nate Diaz for the Power Slap League championship and teasing a move to middleweight.
