Current two-sport and two-division world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 became the first man ever to defeat Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a Muay Thai fight under ONE Championship, as he scored a unanimous decision win in their megafight at ONE Friday Fights 24 in September 2023.
The world's largest martial arts organization recently looked back at the highlights of this barnburner between the two Thai superstars, and they published it on Instagram with the caption:
"When Rodtang and Superlek threw down in a Muay Thai showdown for the ages 🤯 "The Kicking Machine" defends his bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Scottish powerhouse Nico Carrillo at ONE 170! 🔥 @superlek789"
'The Kicking Machine' endured a massive cut on his forehead from 'The Iron Man' and scored a massive knockdown over him in the second round to eventually secure the nod from the judges.
Fans were given a refresher of how close and competitive this match was, and users @dmtrrr_please, @magicangelov, @helexia, @reagannorris42, @magicman_1000, and @nuch99 couldn't help themselves but give praise to both warriors, as they commented:
