Henry Cejudo weighed in on the upcoming women's flyweight title fight between reigning champion Valentina Shevchenko and challenger Alexa Grasso.

Cejudo uploaded a video to his YouTube channel where he provided a breakdown for UFC 285 and analyzed how Grasso's fighting style matches up to Shevchenko, who has ruled the 125lb division. He mentioned that it's possible that the challenger is capable of pulling off an upset, but refrained from making a prediction for the fight because they have both spent time training at Fight Ready MMA.

He said:

"I will say this, this fight will go the distance. The toughest matchup that Valentina's gonna have is against a girl like Alexa Grasso. Alexa Grasso has power in her hands. If Valentina decides to sit there and go blow for blow with Alexa Grasso, Alexa Grasso could potentially put her out." [5:32 - 5:50]

It's important to note that the oddsmakers have 'Bullet' as a significant favorite, so it would be a massive upset should she lose the women's flyweight championship. Cejudo mentioned that the challenger's stance could be an area that Shevchenko can exploit in striking exchanges, saying:

"There's one thing that Alexa Grasso does have that not a lot of people have capitalized is her stance. She's very very wide in her stance, and I do believe that if Valentina plays her game right tactically, there's gonna be a lot of leg-kicks." [5:55 - 6:09]

It will be interesting to see what transpires during the co-main event as 'Bullet' will be looking to bounce back from a controversial split decision win and prove that she is still a dominant force at 125lbs.

Henry Cejudo believes Jon Jones will finish Ciryl Gane

Henry Cejudo is excited for Jon Jones' return to the octagon when he fights Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight championship this Saturday at UFC 285.

'Triple C' has been training with Jones for nearly a year. During this period, Jones spent time at Fight Ready MMA to get his body accustomed to his new weight division. Cejudo has mentioned that Jones has too many skills at his disposal, and his training has reinvigorated him:

"I think the most important thing that makes Jon extremely dangerous is the rekindling of the fire, the fuel that he has now, the chip on his shoulder. And I just feel like for me, Jon has too many tools...I'm gonna make a prediction right now, Jon Jones by stoppage. This [fight] doesn't go into the championship rounds." [2:21 - 5:07]

It will be interesting to see how Jones performs in his heavyweight debut, especially considering that he hasn't fought in three years.
