Alyse Anderson can’t wait to face "the best" Stamp Fairtex in ONE Championship’s U.S. debut

'Lil' Savage' Alyse Anderson is getting ready for her showdown against Thai combat sports superstar Stamp Fairtex. The atomweight fighters are booked for a match on May 5 at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video.

On accepting the fight against Stamp, Anderson told ONE Championship:

"When it was offered to me, I was like, ‘Well, if I am going to fight here, I want to fight the best.’ And what better place to fight Stamp than in ONE’s debut in the U.S.?"

Thailand's Stamp and America's Alyse Anderson will face off in the competitive women's atomweight division at ONE Fight Night 10. The highly anticipated event will be headlined by a world title showdown between ONE flyweight world champion 'Mighty Mouse' Demetrious Johnson and 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes.

The card will mark the first on-site event in the United States for ONE Championship and will be hosted at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

All the action on the card will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.

Alyse Anderson on facing Stamp Fairtex in ONE Championship

'Lil' Savage' Alyse Anderson is excited for her fight against former two-sport world champion Stamp Fairtex. The American athlete has been competing in ONE Championship since 2021 and has loved every second.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Anderson explained:

"I almost felt like it was the Olympics and I was fighting for my country and almost started crying because I was so excited just to be a part of it."

The impact of competing in ONE Championship struck her during the opening sequence. Alyse Anderson further recalled:

"The actual experience of ONE, and the production, and how that was run was super professional. And I think that's what made me nervous, it's because it is a big stage. And like when they do the 'We Are ONE' with the fireworks at the beginning, you just realize like, 'Oh, you're like, not in Kansas anymore. Like, this is the big time.'"

Fighting in ONE Championship and against huge names such as Stamp Fairtex is a goal most fighters can only dream of. 'Lil' Savage' Anderson gets to live out her dream when she next fights at ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5.
