ONE women's atomweight fighter Alyse Anderson is set to face the biggest challenge of her career when she clashes with former world title challenger Stamp Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 10.
This will be a massive leap in competition for the American fighter as Stamp is not just any striking-based MMA fighter.
Stamp bested the elite of the division to win the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix and then famously pushed world champion Angela Lee to the brink at ONE X. On top of all that, the Thai superstar is also a former ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion.
Alyse Anderson, on the other hand, impressed everyone with her recent appearance inside the circle. 'Lil Savage' pulled off an impressive come-from-behind submission win over Asha Rocka at ONE 157. The result put her in the winning column after dropping a close contest against Itsuki Hirata in her promotional debut back in 2021.
Perhaps it's her advancement in jiu-jitsu that's elevated Alyse Anderson's overall MMA game. In a recent photo posted on Anderson's Instagram, we saw her receive a purple belt in jiu-jitsu from blackbelt Matthew Linsemier at Magic BJJ.
With that in mind, it would be interesting to see her clash with fellow purplebelt Stamp Fairtex on the ground.
