The arrest of Andrew Tate and his subsequent custodial extension has been capturing the headlines of late. The notorious influencer is accused of operating a trafficking network that forces women to create sexual content online.

In a recent interview with Fox News, Tina Glandian, a seasoned attorney recruited to lead Andrew Tate's defense, disclosed that Romanian authorities can hold him for up to 180 days in prison. She also revealed that they may continue to keep him in custody without filing formal criminal charges.

Contrary to common perception, Glandian disclosed that the initial inquiry began in April 2022, when false accusations and early attempts to arrest the Tate brothers were made.

To the delight of Tate's ardent supporters, fresh developments have now emerged from the case. Andrew Tate's appeal against preventive detention will be heard on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, while his brother's case will be heard on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, according to a report from Spy News.

A statement released by Tate's lawyers read:

"The Bucharest Court has established the trial terms within which the requests to replace the measure of preventive detention with that of judicial control on bail will be discussed, formulated by the defense, as follows: Andrew Tate - 14.03, 8.30 am, Tristan Tate - 15.03 - I will return with confirmation of the time."

The statement further confirmed that they are not appealing for Tate's release because of his rumored debilitating health conditions:

"I specify that these requests, nor the previous ones, do not have as their object the replacement of the preventive measure by virtue of medical reasons."
