There has been a drastic turn in the case of notorious influencer Andrew Tate, who along with his brother Tristan has been in a Romanian prison since December last year. Tate, his brother Tristan, and two convicted associates have been arrested in Romania on charges of human trafficking and the establishment of a criminal organization.

According to Tate's lawyers, according to the latest court hearing, he will remain in jail until the end of April. This past week, attorneys representing the brothers told a court in Bucharest that the prosecution had provided no new evidence. They see this latest development as further evidence that the brothers are being set up due to their controversial views and notoriety on the internet

However, Andrew Tate has shown remarkable fortitude in the face of 'The Matrix' and the alleged attempts of the people in power to muzzle him. The former kickboxing world champion is sure that his years of experience dealing with adversity in the ring will serve him well now.

While Tate was at the height of his fame outside of prison, he frequently claimed that depression is an illusion. His ability to adjust to life behind bars was recently detailed in a series of tweets. Tate claimed that even at the height of his success, he knew things could go downhill at any moment.

He has spent prosperous times preparing for a downturn in fortunes, and that mindset of acceptance has carried him through the anguish of his extended detention. He wrote:

"When I was flying on private jets, sailing on yachts and driving in sports cars.... Living every man's ideal existence.... I decided that depression wasn't real. I used the good times to prepare myself for the worst which could possibly happen."

He added:

"In my jail cell, this decision has proven ultimately useful. You must prepare for the eventual storm when the sun shines. The summer will never last forever....Winter will come. Prepare now. You’ll thank yourself in the future."

Andrew Tate update: Lawyer parallels her client's situation to Eleanor Williams' fraudulent sex abuse claims

Eleanor Williams, whose false claims of being victimized by an Asian grooming network provoked a storm of outrage on the internet. Williams lied about being beaten, raped and trafficked by men.

She also posted images of her injuries on social media, which her trial revealed were self-inflicted with a hammer. In the weeks following the bogus claims, the accused men attempted suicide multiple times. She was recently given an eight-and-a-half-year prison sentence for her fraudulent claims.

Andrew Tate's lawyer, Tina Glandian, released a statement comparing the defamation allegations against Andrew Tate to the Williams episode. She refrained from using Eleanor Williams' name in the statement:

“Just this month, a 22-year-old British woman was sentenced to 8 years and 5 months in prison for falsely claiming she was traffic-raped and forced to work as a prostitute. Over the course of several years, she went so far as to injure her face with a hammer. The false accusations in that case led to several suicide attempts by the accused men within weeks of them."
