Bibiano Fernandes sees the Loman fight as "a challenge" he needs to overcome

Former ONE bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes will be looking to get back in the win column against 'The Sniper' Stephen Loman. The two highly-ranked bantamweights will go to war at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Since losing his bantamweight crown against John 'Hands of Stone' Lineker earlier this year, Fernandes has not gotten back into the circle. He is booked to face the dangerous Filipino fighter Stephen Loman on November 18 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Brazil's Fernandes explained to ONE Championship in an interview how this is not a world title eliminator for him:

"For him [Stephen Loman], it might be a playoff, but not for me. I've defended the belt several times, and I'm happy to be able to fight an athlete like him. I've faced other Team Lakay athletes, but I don't see it as an eliminator."

'The Flash' sees this fight as a challenge alone, not part of a bigger picture. The Brazilian fighter continued:

"I see this fight as a challenge, and I'm ready for that challenge. I will enter with great seriousness, strength, and determination."

The Brazilian, Bibiano Fernandes, is one of the most decorated world champions in the history of ONE. The skilled fighter recently explained his longevity in an interview with the organization:

“I was the most dominant champion in the ONE Championship. I defended the belt several times, while others who won the title in the division failed to do the same. I defended the belt 11 times, and I don't know if there will be another athlete who will be able to do what I did."
