At ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade put on yet another striking clinic in his world title fight with John Lineker. ‘Wonder Boy’ has emerged as one of the most exciting fighters to watch in ONE Championship, with a style that has seen him go undefeated inside the circle.

Whilst John Lineker was the biggest test of his career to date, Andrade looked very impressive whilst the fight lasted. Though the fight eventually ended in a no-contest after Andrade landed a knee to Lineker’s groin, his striking was proving to be too much for the former champion.

Crucially, he was able to land significant damage on John Lineker without letting ‘Hands of Stone’ close the distance on him and start letting his huge power shots go. By controlling the range of the fight, Andrade was able to showcase his precision.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, ‘Wonder Boy’ spoke about his jab specifically and how it is fundamental to his overall game:

“Yeah my jab is always part of my game, even all those guys I’ve fought are like how I start because it’s a way for me to show them that they can’t see what I’m gonna throw. From the start, I just threw my jab because I have really fast jabs and in MMA you don’t really need to put power, you just need to touch and eventually you’re gonna create damage.”

“I won’t give him a chance” - Fabricio Andrade on whether John Lineker can hurt him in a potential rematch

At ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade seemed moments away from realizing his dream and becoming the bantamweight world champion.

After a phenomenal performance, Andrade had Lineker hurt badly in the third round but his follow-up knee that could’ve ended the fight landed low to Lineker’s groin, ending the fight in a no-contest after the former champion couldn’t continue.

Though he came into their first fight with a ton of confidence, his performance justified it. With their rematch now officially announced for ONE on Prime Video 7 on February 10, ‘Wonder Boy’ is carrying that same confidence into the rematch.

Fabricio Andrade said that he is still not concerned about the power of John Lineker:

"I won’t give him a chance. If you come back and watch the fight, that was the last time [the second round] he actually touched me and then after that I just started to pick him apart."
