Jake Paul's upcoming fight against Tyson Fury's brother, Tommy Fury, has fans waiting for the matchup with bated breath. A positive development regarding the fight was revealed by Ariel Helwani recently.

Helwani reported on Twitter that both Paul and Fury have voluntarily enrolled for drug testing ahead of a potential meeting in the boxing ring. Helwani tweeted:

"Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are both enrolled in the @Vada_Testing program for their Feb. 25 fight, per sources. The fight, which has yet to be officially announced, is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia. (@InsideFighting_ first reported the location.)" [sic]

Helwani confirmed that the fight would take place on February 25 and cited Inside Fighting while reporting that the venue will be in Saudi Arabia. Inside Fighting had previously posted on their social media about the fight's confirmation. The bout will be organized and promoted by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.

Previous attempts at a matchup between the two failed due to various reasons- from injury issues to visa troubles. The two camps have also bickered over the terms of the fight and stalled the negotiations multiple times, even while taking to social media to call out the opposition.

Jake Paul addresses Francis Ngannou's exit from the UFC, says he is still the heavyweight champion

The UFC heavyweight division no longer has a champion after the shock exit of Francis Ngannou. The Cameroonian fighter did not agree to the contract terms offered by the UFC and was subsequently released from the promotion.

Ngannou also declined the exorbitantly high payday offered by the UFC, which would have allegedly made him the highest-paid heavyweight fighter of all time.

Jake Paul took to Twitter to talk about Ngannou's exit and maintained that 'The Predator' will remain the heavyweight champion until he loses. Paul tweeted:

"Francis Ngannou is the baddest man on the planet & is a free agent bc he chose to be. He’s the heavyweight champ in MMA & will be until he loses. They [UFC] are not happy about this. But it’s reality, & they have to deal with it. They have to live with that everyday. @francis_ngannou"

Jake Paul recently signed with the Professional Fighters League and announced that he would be making his mixed martial arts debut in the new superfight division of the PFL.

Free agent Francis Ngannou could potentially join him at the promotion after a New Year's post by him showed an acquaintance in a PFL T-shirt.
