'Money' has been in the form of his career as of late, picking up four consecutive wins since November 2022. His most recent victory, a dominant TKO doctor stoppage win over Benoit Saint Denis, has also seen him crack the top 10 in the lightweight rankings and has set him up to challenge some of the biggest contenders in the division.

Moicano has also seen his popularity soar alongside the number next to his name over recent months, with his post-fight speeches often going viral. The Brazilian has been able to show off his personality and comedic side on the mic, and he has done so once again during the latest episode of his podcast.

Beneil Dariush vs. Renato Moicano is reportedly in the works for UFC 311

Beneil Dariush could be set to return to the octagon after over a year out. He has reportedly been booked to face Renato Moicano at UFC 311 on Jan. 18, 2025.

Dariush had been taking some time out from the cage, following back-to-back knockout losses at the hands of Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan last year. He was then planning to return to action earlier this year, however, a torn meniscus injury had delayed his plans.

For Moicano, the Brazilian had been hoping to lock in another fight before the end of 2024, with names like Dan Hooker or Paddy Pimblett rumored to be in the pipeline. That no longer appears to be the case, however, following the report by MMA journalist @realkevink that Moicano is instead being touted to face Dariush next.

"🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 Per Sources: Renato Moicano vs Beneil Dariush is IN THE WORKS for #UFC311 January 18th! This will be Beneil’s First Fight back since December 2nd 2023!"
