UFC strawweight champion Carla Esparza seems almost unstoppable at the moment. With her win over former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas at UFC 274, 'Cookie Monster' is currently on a six-fight win streak.

In her next fight, the American is slated to face former divisional queen Zhang Weili. The strawweight title fight will take place as the co-main event at UFC 281 on November 12.

This edition of the UFC's pay-per-view will take place at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York. Tickets for the event are available through ticketmaster.com.

After two back-to-back losses to Rose Namajunas, Esparza's opponent Weili got back in the win column again at UFC 275 by securing a second-round KO against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Esparza currently holds a pro-MMA record of 19-6 as a pro-MMA athlete, while Weili's record stands at 22-3.

This is the American's second reign as a UFC champion. Interestingly, Esparza became the promotion's inaugural strawweight champion at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 finale by defeating Rose Namajunas.

The middleweight title clash between former kickboxing foes Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira will serve as the main event for UFC 281.

UFC 281's main card also features many other fan favorites. A fight between former lightweight title challengers Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler will also be a part of the main card.

Fan favorite Dan Hooker returns on November 12 to take on the 26-year-old Claudio Puelles.

When Joanna Jedrzejczyk suggested that Carla Esparza was "scared" to fight Zhang Weili

In a recent interview with The Schmo, former UFC fighter Joanna Jedrzejczyk responded to Carla Esparza's claims that Marina Rodriguez should get the title shot over Zhang Weili, saying that the champ might be scared of the Chinese national.

Speaking to Schmo, the retired fighter claimed that the UFC had already planned to pitch the winner of the Weili-Jedrzejczyk fight against the reigning strawweight queen:

"It's her choice, her decision... But we've been told that... the winner of our fight, mine and Weili was going to be the next challenger pertinent for the UFC strawweight belt. So definitely Weili Zhang deserves the title shot. And I know that Carla might be scared, but it's her choice, you know, it's her choice, she is the champ."
