Like most who witnessed ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13, newly crowned ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Chingiz Allazov was concerned to see the condition of fellow fighter Gantumur Bayanduuren after the damage the Mongolian warrior absorbed in his own fight.

Bayanduuren faced off with American champion Mikey Musumeci for the ONE flyweight submission grappling world title at ONE Championship’s first live event of 2023 and lost by unanimous decision. He showed tremendous durability throughout the 10-minute battle but paid dearly for it as his left leg and ankle shattered from the constant pressure that Musumeci applied throughout the fight.

In a video posted by dooloo.mma on Instagram, Chingiz Allazov is seen checking on Bayanduuren in his hotel room after the event and wishing the Mongolian fighter a speedy recovery from his injury.

Chingiz Allazov provided one of the highlights at ONE Fight Night 6 in Bangkok by demolishing former world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn by way of a second-round knockout victory to seize the featherweight kickboxing world title.

He was dominant and displayed massive punching power that saw him send local hero Superbon to the mat three times en route to the title-clinching victory.

Allazov showed dominance in seizing the featherweight kickboxing world title. Packing a lot of punching power, he tore up Superbon, dropping the former titleholder thrice to the mat on his way to a second-round knockout victory and a $50,000 performance bonus.

Prior to conquering the featherweight kickboxing world title, he ruled the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix, earning him a shot at the title against Superbon. Allazov is now on the lookout for new challenges and targets, the topmost of which is the lightweight belt held by Regian ‘The Immortal’ Eersel.
