WATCH: Anatoly Malykhin reacts to Chingiz Allazov’s KO of Superbon from Circleside

Two-division ONE world champion Anatoly Malykhin was cageside for the huge clash between Superbon and Chingiz Allazov in Friday night’s main event.

Live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, Superbon and Allazov's clash for the featherweight kickboxing world championship was one of the most anticipated bouts of the year.

With fans finally getting to see the fight they had been waiting for, Chingiz Allazov produced an incredible performance to stop and dethrone the champion in the second round.

Light heavyweight and interim heavyweight world champion Malykhin stood right in front of the action, supporting ‘Chinga’. Allazov was looking to become the world champion following a year in which he won the featherweight World Grand Prix.

As the crowd in attendance went crazy for Allazov’s devastating knockout, Anatoly Malykhin showed his support for the challenger-turned-champion. On Instagram, ONE Championship posted the Russian’s reaction to the fight's finish with the caption:

“World Champion supporting NEW World Champion 🤩🏆 @chingizallazov @anmalykhin”

Allazov had spoken in the build-up to this fight about how his boxing would be the difference when he faced one of the best kickers in the world. He proved that to be correct.

Putting immense pressure on the defending champion early on in the fight, ‘Chinga’ came out of the gate throwing hard at Superbon.

In the second round, Allazov produced a huge knockdown that spelled the end of the fight, securing another two in quick succession to become the new ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion.

Both Anatoly Malykhin and Amir Aliakbari are two of ONE’s most devastating knockout artists. Whilst they both step into the circle with the intention of removing their opponents' consciousness, they always show respect after.

In his second fight with ONE Championship, current light heavyweight and interim heavyweight champion Malykhin faced Aliakbari. In a clip posted by ONE Championship, their fight from 2021 was summarized.

On Instagram, the promotion shared clips that show Malykhin and Aliakbari staring each other down, the Russian winning via brutal knockout, and the two warriors bowing to each other after their fight.
