At ONE on Prime Video 4, Christian Lee produced one of the best comebacks of the year. In his fight with Kiamrian Abbasov, Lee had to live up to his nickname to emerge victorious as a double champion.

‘The Warrior’ was forced to weather the toughest round of his career in the bout’s opening five minutes. The power of the bigger man played a huge part early on, but once Lee was able to make it out of the first round, he started to turn his fortunes round.

With an incredible display of heart and toughness, Christian Lee overcame his tiring opponent and got the fourth-round finish. Crowned as the new ONE welterweight world champion, ‘The Warrior’ lifted both of his world titles in the air following one of the greatest fights of the year.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Lee reflected on the fight and shared his thoughts now that he has had some separation from it:

“It was a crazy fight. I think me and Abbasov were both hurting after that fight was done. But it was a great night. I’m grateful that I was able to get my hand raised.”

Christian Lee predicts outcome if he fights fellow world champions Islam Makhachev, Raush Manfio, Patricky Pitbull

Two-division world champion Christian Lee has been on an incredible rise over the last few years. At just 24 years old, Lee has already accomplished a lot in the sport, including becoming a double champion in his last fight against Kiamrian Abbasov.

‘The Warrior’ has earned 17 career wins, with an incredible 16 by way of finish. Not only is he one of the promotion's biggest stars, he’s one of the top fighters in the world today when you look at his achievements.

During a recent appearance on the MMA Junkie Podcast, Christian Lee spoke about hypothetical matchups with champions from other promotions.

The likes of lightweights Islam Makhachev, Patricky Pitbull, and Raush Manfio were all brought up, with Lee giving his take on what would happen if he stepped inside the cage against the fellow champions:

“Yeah, I think if you were to put the four of us in one tournament, I think for sure it would be me and Islam in the finals. I have a lot of respect for Islam. He had a great performance in capturing the lightweight title. But I believe that I would win that fight, for sure.”
