Following his UFC departure, Francis Ngannou has remained a free agent with a large number of career options at his disposal. Now another possibility has opened up after the BKFC heavyweight champion labeled Ngannou his "dream fight."

'The Predator' was at the height of his mixed martial arts tenure when he decided to vacate his UFC heavyweight title and leave the company following a contract dispute. Despite being offered a record deal, the titan was intent on helping his fellow fighters and ultimately couldn't accept the new contract.

During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, newly crowned BKFC heavyweight champion Alan Belcher set his sights on a potential clash against Francis Ngannou:

"[My first] title defense in BKFC? There's a couple of guys that are out there that are kind of making their way, but there's no real definitive [contender].
"There's a lot of good guys to fight, Ben Rothwell coming in is great [but] I think that the kind of big fights, the big paydays that I'm really looking for are gonna be six months or a year down the line when there's bigger names in there. Right now, a dream fight would be if Francis Ngannou would come over to Bare Knuckle and fight me for the belt. I would love that... I think that's probably a realistic one."

Alan Belcher is a former UFC middleweight competitor who has found much success inside the boxing and bare-knuckle ring since leaving MMA back in 2013. 'The Talent' had an eight-year hiatus from combat sports before returning and winning eight straight on his way to BKFC gold.

Francis Ngannou's next opponent: Who will 'The Predator' likely face next?

Whilst a big payday and title shot with BKFC could entice the former UFC heavyweight king, Francis Ngannou has publicly made it clear that he intends on stepping into the boxing ring next time out.

Tyson Fury was the main target for the Cameroonian, but that has been forced aside for the moment as 'The Gypsy King' is in talks to defend his WBC heavyweight belt against Oleksandr Usyk.

Ngannou's attention is now on Deontay Wilder, who has proposed a two-fight deal with 'The Predator', with one bout taking place in the squared circle and the other in the cage.
