Conor McGregor recently voiced his opinion on Oleksandr Usyk's win over Tyson Fury. The two squared off in a highly anticipated heavyweight title-unification bout. The event billed as 'Ring of Fire' took place this Saturday at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Fury entered the fight with a split-decision win over former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Meanwhile, in his last boxing appearance, Usyk beat Daniel Dubois via TKO in the ninth round.

The fight lived up to expectations, with significant momentum changes during all 12 rounds. With a long jab, Fury used his stature and reach to establish dominance early on in the bout. But Usyk never wavered, throwing crisp blows all the way through.

A thrilling ninth round proved to be the pivotal moment. Usyk delivered a left hook that almost caused a stoppage and had Fury reeling. Fury was spared, but he never really recovered from the bell. In the closing rounds, Usyk maintained his lead and won via split decision according to the judges' scorecards (115-112, 113-114, 114-113).

Following their match, McGregor took to social media and expressed his thoughts on the champion's next step. He wrote the following on his Instagram story:

''A mad hiding! What next, who knows. Usyk is incredible. He has beat both soundly. Whatever moves towards Tyson AJ I am for. If Fury wishes to go for a second try at the wheel, AJ had two attempts so why not. Tall ask. Not impossible also. If not, AJ Usyk III last hoorah, and then win loose or draw go Tyson AJ and congrats and thank you @turkialalshik and all involved in this era of heavy weight fighting for getting all of this done. What a time to be alive, thank you to the fighting gods and to god.''
