Conor McGregor has assured fans that his comeback to the octagon is imminent and all signs are pointing to him facing Michael Chandler in his return matchup, but many are doubting the former champ-champ. The lightweight has now issued a short and simple message to those that don't believe in him.

While he has undoubtedly been working hard to return to winning ways, fans are calling back to his two most recent bouts under the UFC banner. Having only won once since his historic night at MSG in 2016, 'The Notorious' has a large number of doubters he'll need to prove wrong, despite his history of success in the sport.

When approached by a journalist while out with family, Conor McGregor was presented with a number of quick-fire questions. The superstar took time to answer a few and sent a message to those who are questioning his ability by saying, 'See you soon'.

McGregor insisted fans should expect a potential date and location for his clash with Michael Chandler to be announced by the UFC soon. While nothing is official as of yet, there are rumors of the bout between TUF coaches to unfold sometime in December.

Although he's coming off a loss to Dustin Poirier in a fight-of-the-year contender war, 'Iron' is considered by many to be a tough welcome back to the octagon for the knockout artist. As the two tend to start fast and push the pace from the opening bell, this has all the ingredients to produce fireworks early into the brawl.

Conor McGregor TUF: Watch the viral clip of the Irishman's first exchange with Michael Chandler on The Ultimate Fighter

We are edging closer to The Ultimate Fighter 31's release date and just last week, a short clip was released showcasing the first exchange the fighters shared whilst filming the show.

Conor McGregor has forged a career out of playing mind games on his opponents and that was on full display when coming face-to-face with his opposing coach on the TUF 31 set.

The brief altercation saw Michael Chandler promise a second-round knockout victory for himself, which clearly hit the nerve of his opponent. However, the tables turned once the Irishman insisted the former Bellator lightweight king would 'do as he's told' when referring to what weight they'll eventually compete at.
