Dan Hardy broke down the UFC 283 main event between Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill for the vacant light heavyweight championship.

During a recent episode of his Outlawed Picks Podcast, Hardy analyzed the matchup and whether Teixeira could capture the light heavyweight championship for the second time. He mentioned that the former champion could be in for a rough night and his durability might finally catch up to him.

He said:

"I feel like this might be the turning point where he doesn't get back up. And Jamahal {Hill} could hit hard with both hands, he's got good kicks. He's a long-range fighter, he's very loose. I'd be more comfortable seeing Teixeira fighting 'Shogun' {Rua} to be honest. That's the level of fighting that I think he should be at." {2:06:08 - 2:06:28}

'The Outlaw' also brought up that Hill's striking could be a deciding factor in the fight. He mentioned that Teixeira needs to be aware of 'Sweet Dreams's' power and tendencies as he could get caught if he finds himself forcing a takedown, saying:

"I feel like it could fall on him quite quickly...He could walk onto something...Like, the other thing as well, Jamahal Hill is a southpaw, he's not quite as chaotic as Prochazka. Prochazka winds up with stuff, you could kinda see him coming a lot of the time if you got good fundamentals, good defence, that's it." {2:07:55 - 2:08:15}

Despite highlighting areas in which Teixeira could be at a disadvantage, Hardy is still backing the former light heavyweight champion to regain the title.

Dan Hardy weighs in on Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno 4

Dan Hardy weighed in on the upcoming quadrilogy bout between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. The two will look to finally settle the debate as they unify the flyweight championship at UFC 283.

Hardy spoke about the event on his Outlawed Picks Podcast. The former UFC welterweight title challenger mentioned that 'Deus Da Guerra' might have a slight advantage in the leadup to their fourth fight. He attributed it to adjustments that he made in their previous fight, saying:

"I still feel like {Deiveson} Figueiredo looks at {Brandon} Moreno like, 'I should be able to knock this kid out. If I land clean, I should be able to knock him out.' He dropped him in the third fight, he knows he could hurt him now. And he's got that timing of Moreno stepping in on the jab." {1:43:10 - 1:43:23}

Given the background surrounding the fight, it's bound to be a thriller.
