The Power Slap heavyweight champion slapped a member of the FaZe clan, leaving an imprint on his back, which stunned fans.

One of the members of the FaZe clan, an esports group, asked the Power Slap heavyweight champion, Damien Dibbell, to unleash his infamous slap on his back, and the results were revolting as he was left with a palm-shaped mark on his back that didn't look like it was going to go away too soon.

Ever since he took over as UFC CEO, Dana White has been successful with promotional endeavors.

Not many would question the business acuity of White, but his relentless promotion of Power Slap and its comparison with MMA has left a bad taste in several fans' mouths.

When Dana White announced the arrival of Power Slap, a league where competitors look to KO their opponent with their slaps, not many realized how seriously the UFC CEO would take this league. Many fans brushed the promotion under the carpet as another pet project of the massively successful promoter.

The Boston-born has ostensibly sworn to skyrocket the popularity of Power Slap while defending the athletic integrity of the sport.

Unsurprisingly, White is unbothered by the fans' disdain for the league and has taken on the responsibility to promote Power Slap wherever he goes.

Recently, White went on the Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe and was asked about his opinion of Power Slap, to which the 55-year-old promoter replied:

“It’s the most successful thing that I’ve ever been a part of in my career, in such a short amount of time, in sixteen months. Sixteen months old, we have more followers than like, the NHL, PGA, NASCAR, and many, many, others. And we’re about to takeover Major League Baseball too here, pretty soon.”

White added:

“On all social platforms, and billions, billions of views, in just, just sixteen months. The EBITDA on this thing is off the charts, the revenue is unbelievable and we have more sponsors in sixteen months than the UFC had in eight years.”

As of the time of writing, Power Slap has 3.01 million subscribers on YouTube and 4.9 million followers on Instagram. The sporting purity of the league can be disputed, but the wild popularity of it can't.
