Danielle Kelly is set to return to action at ONE Fight Night 26 where she hopes to close out the year with a win.
The former ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion had produced a perfect winning streak since arriving in the promotion. Her win over Jessa Khan at ONE Fight Night 14 saw her achieve the dream of becoming a world champion.
However, in her first title defense, fans witnessed her face adversity under the ONE banner for the first time, as she was defeated by Mayssa Bastos at ONE Fight Night 24 in August.
At the final Fight Night event of the year, they will run it back at Lumpinee Stadium on Dec. 6.

Kelly believes that her wrestling will be crucial for reclaiming the gold at ONE Fight Night 26.
Having taken lessons from their first encounter, she is now confident that this is where she holds an advantage over her former foe, as she spoke about in a recent interview on the JitsCast:
"So I'm comfortable playing everywhere. I'm comfortable playing wrestling. I don't think her wrestling's that good at all, which is why I was trying to get a reaction out of her in the last match."

Danielle Kelly gained confidence from their first meeting
Danielle Kelly would have been disappointed in the immediate aftermath of her first meeting with Mayssa Bastos several months ago.
With more time to reflect on her performance and the result, she has been able to take positives from this loss.
Kelly proved she belongs at this level against one of the most acclaimed grapplers in her weight class. If she can take this into the rematch and turn her lessons into confidence, she can put her best foot forward against Bastos.
