ONE flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and fans have reacted to Liver King's response to Eddie Alvarez, who accused the internet personality of using steroids.

Liver King, whose real name is Brian Johnson, shot to fame over the last year as a fitness and masculinity influencer. Johnson has amassed almost two million Instagram followers after showcasing what he says is the ancestral lifestyle.

According to the fitness influencer, by eating a primal diet, which consists of animal lungs and testicles, one can achieve the same physical results to their body as him.

Former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez shared the response he received from Liver King after he reached out to him on Instagram last year. 'The Underground King' wrote that he was a fan of Johnson but questioned whether or not he achieved his results naturally.

Check out Liver King's response below:

Demetrious Johnson responded to the post, suggesting there are no images of our ancestors with the same physique as Liver King:

"I would say I've never seen any picture of our ancestors look that big"

One fan joked that they didn't know our ancestors had access to advanced pharmaceuticals in the form of peformancing-enhancing drugs and steroids:

"It's crazy to think that our ancestors had access to some pretty advanced pharmaceuticals and were all able to spend $12k a month on PEDs"

Henry Cejudo's coach reacts to him training with Demetrious Johnson

Eric Albarracin, the coach of Henry Cejudo, has compared his pupil and Demetrious Johnson training together to NBA legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

'Triple C' and 'Mighty Mouse' once had a heated rivalry whilst they both competed in the UFC's flyweight division. The pair fought twice during Johnson's UFC tenure, with 'DJ' winning their first fight via TKO and 'Triple C' shocking the world with a split-decision win in the second, capturing the flyweight title.

In recent months, the pair have put aside their animosity and have become close friends, even now training together since Cejudo returned to the USADA testing pool. According to Albarracin, it is "surreal" to see them train and work with each other:

"This is like watching Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan train. You know, Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali. Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed. This is everything that nobody's supposed to see... It is surreal that these two [Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo] are actually training together, exchanging knowledge, feeding off of each other... I'm at a loss for words for what this is because you almost rarely ever see it."
