Ahead of his huge rematch with John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Fabricio Andrade is completely confident that he is the better fighter.

In their first fight at ONE on Prime Video 3, Andrade proved that everything he had said in the build-up wasn’t just talk. With a great performance, he dominated the fight and, in the eyes of many, likely would have had his hand raised at the end if it wasn’t for an unintentional low blow to his opponent that ended the fight in a no contest.

Since their first meeting, Andrade has claimed to be the uncrowned bantamweight world champion and it’s hard to argue with him given his run of form.

On February 24, he will get the opportunity to face the former world champion once again and try to correct the one mistake that he made. If he's successful, he'll walk away as the ONE bantamweight world champion.

In an interview with SCMP MMA, ‘Wonder Boy’ said:

“I just need to be relaxed. I am a better fighter than he is. I have more speed, I have more power. I have more skills than he does. I need to take my time, and I should go there and enjoy my time and eventually knock him out. Because this is going to happen.”

“We all know he's a b***h now” - Fabricio Andrade mocks John Lineker for breaking their "no takedowns" pact

In the build-up to their first fight, Fabricio Andrade wasn’t afraid to put his neck on the line and make bold statements about his fight with John Lineker.

After he proved many of them to be correct with his performance inside the circle, it’s not surprising that nothing has changed ahead of their rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.

One of his biggest claims ahead of their first meeting was that he would turn John Lineker, who is known for his devastating knockouts, into a wrestler through desperation.

At ONE on Prime Video 3, that’s exactly what happened. The former world champion was forced to change his game plan by looking for takedowns to try and recover and get past Andrade’s striking.

Ahead of their rematch on February 24, Fabricio Andrade has continued to provoke his opponent by calling him out for breaking their “no takedowns” rule, which he says they agreed to.

In the same interview, he said:

“I said if he shoots, he's a b**ch. So we all know he's a b**ch now. It is what it is. It is true, you know, we made a bet and that was the price, and he broke it.”
