Newly minted ONE bantamweight world champion Fabricio Andrade and former divisional king John Lineker put on a classic in the main event of ONE Fight Night 7.

The pair of knockout artists more than made up for the inconclusive end to their first bout late last year. From bell-to-bell, 'Wonder Boy' and 'Hands of Stone' wowed the crowd at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with their courage, toughness, heart and frightening ferocity.

Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker had one of the most intense rivalries in ONE Championship history. Trash-talking and bickering, both online and in person, reached such a point that the bout eventually became personal.

After the no-contest ruling of their first encounter, however, the animosity and absolute desire to put each other away reached insumountable levels.

Still, after all the bad blood outside and carnage inside the ring, the two showed tremendous respect towards one another once the dust settled. In a short clip uploaded by ONE on Instagram, we saw Lineker congratulating Andrade after the latter won the belt via TKO:

"Nothing but respect 🙏 @fabricioandrade1 @johnlinekermma #ONEFightNight7"

What a beautiful moment between two great fighters who put it all on the line. They say that no bond can rival the bond between two warriors who have fought each other. The pain, agony, thrill and glory shared by individuals, regardless of whether they're against each other or not, will surely make brothers out of strangers.

Fabricio Andrade vs. John Lineker play-by-play

Right from the opening bell, Lineker came looking to put 'Wonder boy' away. After a series of intense back-and-forth exchanges between the two knockout kings, Andrade uncorked a massive right hand that wobbled 'Hands of Stone'.

Andrade went in for the kill but his wounded opponent was saved by the bell.

By round two, Lineker recovered and went back to stalking Fabricio Andrade, pressuring him to backpedal. 'Wonder Boy', however, utilized his reach advantage and stabbed Lineker with jabs and straight punches, just like he did in the first fight. Still, the former world champion was able to close the distance a few times to unleash his powerful hooks.

While the second and third rounds were razor-close, things took a turn when Andrade unloaded his clip on Lineker like a bat out of hell in the fourth. 'Hands of Stone' was busted up and bleeding, but was once again saved by the bell.

By the time referee Herb Dean signaled the start of the fifth round, Lineker's corner made the decision to throw in the towel. The cut on his right eye was so severe that it was deemed too much for him to continue fighting.

With that said, Dean waved the fight off, awarding Fabricio Andrade the ONE bantamweight world title.
